This is the branch I opened my bank account at- hassle free unlike other banks who don't understand that international students will not have bills from the past 2 years. I never really like banks, and this place is no exception. However, the service is good once you get past the slightly snotty reception desk lady and the manager who I talked to was friendly enough (perhaps a bit too keen but oh well). Lloyds has certainly picked up on the value of customer service and the importance of even the smallest account. Just make sure to be careful not to go even a penny overdraft or they will charge the cr** out of you. This is their main branch and it's in a rather imposing looking building. Head to the reception desk if you are confused to where to go (I was) and they will help you out. They could do with a bit more seating places. So compared to the rest, it's A-OK. read more
