You could tell that he has a passion for his work and that he wouldn't be okay with a sub-par haircut. He consulted me throughout the cut to make sure I liked what he was doing, and if I wanted anything different. My husband had Rich, and although I didn't get to observe, he says that he had a similar experience with his stylist. The environment is kinda on the loud side, so that may be one of the few downfalls. Parking is also a nightmare, so be prepared to either circle the block 20 times to find a spot that opens, or take an alternative means of transportation to get there. Overall, very satisfied despite the price, and I plan on returning as a regular customer.

No appointments but, given that they have long hours, we've never had much of a wait when we go in. $22 gets you an experienced cut by anyone there but our favorite cuts have been by Troy and so we'll probably start requesting him. Jon raised the price on me without mentioning it beforehand, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful after so many years of monthly haircuts. And I didn't live in the neighborhood for…read moremany of those years - I drove in from the Western Suburbs for at least 20 years while I still lived in the Twin Cities. Joe is an excellent barber who knows how to do it right. I moved away a few years ago but still see Joe for a haircut when I'm in town about 6 times per year. Tried many other "barbers" where I live now and have resorted to having my wife trim my hair in between visits to Joe - that's how bad they are AND how GOOD Joe is at his craft.
