We bought a beautiful chiming wall clock - a great price and also 20% off as the had a sale on. Wonderful service - a beautiful shop, that you rarely see now. No rushing, time to explain and service with a smile. There were a number of photos on the walls, so I asked about the shops history. It was a really enjoyable shop to buy our new clock - so glad we called in. It won't be the last time.

They are a proper 'old fashioned' family business in that you get fantastic quality, the customer service is second to none, and their knowledge is exceptional. The shop itself is quite small, so it's always best to ask if there's something specific that you're looking for but you can't seem to find it. They are also able to provide engraving, ring sizing, repairs and renovations to jewellery, watches and clocks on-site, and they are members of the National Association of Goldsmiths, so you can rest assured that their work is of a very high standard. They stock a large selection of Welsh Gold, including the very popular Clogau Gold.

This is probably mainly due to the fact that W R P Jewellery have been around for quite a long time and are well known for performing repairs and modifications. They also provide a valuation service for insurance purposes, as well as reselling. With the price of gold going through the roof during the recession, a lot of people have been tempted to sell their unwanted pieces of gold jewellery for scrap, and so I imagine that W R P Jewellery have performed more valuations than usual over the last couple of years.

This shop has been in Minehead for over 2 decades now, run by the same lady for the whole time. She is absolutely amazing and one of the kindest women i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Last year I bought a pair of black onyx droplet silver earrings and wore them on the night. When i got home, the black onyx stone had dropped out of one of them and I was totally distraught. Because the earrings were a reasonable price, my partner said he would buy me the same ones again so we went back. Unfortunately, she did not have any more in stock, but seeing my distress, she called us back into the shop, took our address details and name, and ordered a new pair in at no extra cost. We had them in the post within seven days, I was totally amazed and so happy. The shop is rreally graet for quality jewellery at amazingly low prices, selling all kinsd of male and female jewellery as well as clocks and mirrors. I would recommend this to anyone.
