The best mangoes in South Florida can be found here. They have over 50 varieties. While this is not a U-pick it farm, the staff are kind enough to educate you on the types of trees. I even got some excellent tips on pruning my mango tree. This year, it seems that mango trees east of 95 have an abundance of fruit and those west of 95 have little to none. Truly Tropical is worth the drive and the price for the fruit. Its located close to A1A if you want to take the scenic route up the Palm Beaches. I will definitly be back now that I've finally taken the time to visit.

Mangos and more mangos!
Vilma S.

Wow, a mango farm tucked into a residential area of Delray Beach-there are nearly 50 different varieties growing there! Started by Chris Wenzel in 1999, the farm also produces jackfruit, sapodilla, jaboticaba, Barbados cherry, coconut, sugar apple, atemoya, black sapote, mamey sapote, lychee, avocado and tamarind. You can purchase as many as you want and some taste like a mix of coconut and pineapples. The cost is around $1 a pound and other varieties are $2 a pound--a little more expensive than getting mangos at the stores but so worth it! The farm is only open to the public to purchase mangos and other fruit on Saturday between 9-12pm, Monday 12-1pm, and Wednesday 4-5:30pm. The hours can change so make sure you call 561-278-7754. If you are in the Delray Beach area this is definitely a must go to place!!

Truly Fantastic! Sam on his birthday. Mangos are his favorite fruit! We toured the grove with Har Mahdeem. Great!

Go immediately to Bedner's and pick up some of their Fresh Corn on the Cob... OGM! So sweet!!…read more Delicious!!! I like how they send you emails to let you know what's coming off the farm on the weekend... worked on me. Also, I wanted to pick up some Ice Cream from Sutton Milk Farm, a dairy farm in Okeechobee that makes amazing, fresh, ice cream. Both the Vanilla and Mint Chocolate Chip were fantastic. BTW, they also carry Duci Gelato if you can't make it to their place on Congress. That's the beauty of Bedner's Farm Markets... they search out the top quality items for sale at the store... and of course, the great produce, from their farms and other local farms. Just look at the beautiful veggies! Now, do yourself a favor... go pick up some corn! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

They have 3 locations (Boynton Beach, Del Ray and West Palm) and I had been meaning to check them out for some time. I'm glad I did. The store itself isn't all that big but they do pack a lot of unique produce items, some hard to find. The produce is super fresh and some of the pricing is cheaper than big box supermarkets, while others are more pricey. In the end it evens out but you get local farm fresh produce and that's a win win. By the way, the lemonade blueberries were a pleasant surprise. I thought they would be on the tart side but they were refreshingly sweet. Happy I stopped in and will definitely come back!

The interior storefront is part ice cream store, part candy shop, and part open seating. It connects directly to Bambini's pizzeria, which is takeout only. However, the open seating is the perfect spot to eat that pizza. Old fashioned looking booths and tables are made even more fun with a ceiling full of vintage toys and interesting items. My kids spent the whole time pointing at things they saw. In the front, there is a table with paper products and pizza fixings. You don't have to eat inside though - there is also eating outside. A small backdoor is the secret entrance to their amazing backyard space- full of tropical plants, statues, some covered tables (although not covered during heavy rain). To go beyond this, you must pay a fee- to see their animals. A very old school florida spot! It was raining so we weren't able to go this time, but my kids loved looking at all the vintage things and drooling over a million candies, that it was fun just being there.

What began as a small shop with local jellies, ice cream, and fruit is now a fun attraction complete with animal experiences! When you first enter, you are brought to a classic ice cream shop. To the right is their pizza shop, which I haven't tried but always seems to have a line of people waiting so it must be good! Out back is where the real magic happens. It's like walking through the Narnia wardrobe. There are several areas for dining outdoors , a smoothie shop, a train ride, and a GIANT area to walk through in using all types of animals . The have goats roaming, highland cows, bird experiences, bunnies, pigs, and turkeys!!! You do have to pay to enter, but it's a small price for all that is offered. They also have food available to purchase so you can feed the animals. I recommend grabbing the veggies bucket because the goats roaming around LOVE the veggies and are very friendly with kids!!! They also offer a petting area where kids are able to interact with bunnies, pigs and goats. There is something to do for kids and adults of all ages!!!!!!!!!!

We found a free parking spot a bock away. This green market is a Saturday morning destination, an open air marketplace at Old School Square off Swinton & Atlantic Avenues. During the summers, they're open from 9 until 1:00, October through May 9 until 2:00 o'clock. There are over 50 vendors here featuring farm to fork produce, fish, meats, orchids, just picked citrus and juice, farm fresh eggs, milk & butter, artisan baked goods, fresh cut flowers, plants, and gourmet prepared foods with live musical entertainment weekly. After :90 we couldn't eat nor carry any more. We left with fresh pompano from Captain Clay, lots of pristine organic produce, mango honey, fresh spinach fettuccine, and pistachio butter. Prices were high but quality gourmet items usually are. There was a police presence here. The Beatles Tribute band were in costume & performed through out. Everyone was friendly & courteous and the beautiful dogs were leashed and well behaved.

I ordered the cappuccino and the spinach goat cheese quiche, and both were absolutely outstanding. I've spent a lot of time in France, and I can honestly say the flavors transported me right back. The cappuccino tasted like mornings in Paris, perfectly balanced, smooth, and comforting. The quiche was rich and beautifully baked, with that authentic, homemade French flavor you just can't fake. Even the salad and its dressing were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Chef's kiss. The gift they put together for me was arranged so beautifully and with such care , it felt special and elevated. You can tell there's real pride and heart behind this place. A big merci to the owners for creating such a charming, authentic experience right here in Boca. I'll absolutely be back.

It is a small grocery store that also serves food. We had lunch there.. and really enjoyed it. I had quiche and salad, which were both very delicious. Found so many good things other than the butters. Bought some Herbs of Provence to make my quiche with. I added a little to my quiche mixture before baking and it was so good! Also bought some mustard, with seeds, to put in a salad, with fresh lemon juice and evoo. Aioli garlic mayonnaise, a nice addition in my sandwiches. Love the olive tapenade very much, it's the best black olive tapenade I have tasted in a jar. Noticed some very tiny pieces of maybe pits in it. Got a cake in a box, which is in a sealed can. A cake that doesn't need to be eaten right away. Almond & Orange, it was o.k. The great thing was, found many items without having to go to France!!! That's the best part of it all! Am actually surprised to find such a nice store in south Florida, it is special, and with many items I love. Will return for more. They have a GREAT selection of frozen items. Some mini hors d'oeuvres, which I like. If you don't know what they are...ask. I noticed a tray in the freezer, with mini hors d'oeuvres, was told they can make them up ahead of time, if ordered. I presume you have a choice of what you want, but the one I saw looked out of this world. They have onion boules, (mini bowls of like onion soup in them), which I have had in the past from another place. What I liked is, that they have a smaller quantity. The owners were exceptionally pleasant and helpful regarding all of my questions. Will definitely be going back!

Walked in today (and pretty much every other time I've bothered going) and it's the same story: ZERO help anywhere in the store. Every single regular checkout lane is permanently closed, forcing you into the self-checkout gauntlet where half the scanners don't work properly anyway. Need help with an item that won't scan? Good luck--there is literally no one around who cares enough to assist. The employees (what few are actually on the floor) just cluster up front like they're on permanent break, staring at their phones or chatting, completely ignoring customers waving produce or asking basic questions. It's like they all collectively decided "this isn't my job" the second they clocked in. The shelves? A joke. Always, always out of the most basic organic items--organic chicken breasts, thighs, you name it. Half the time the cooler looks like it was raided days ago and never restocked. And don't get me started on the produce. They slap the "organic" label on it, charge a premium, and then give you limp, bruised, half-rotten fruits and vegetables that look like they were picked last month. I've thrown away more moldy berries, and slimy greens from this store than I care to count. For "farmers market" prices, you'd expect at least decent quality. Nope. Management? What management? I've never once seen a manager on the floor, addressing the chaos, restocking, or even pretending to care that customers are walking out empty-handed and furious. The whole operation feels abandoned. I'm done. There's a Whole Foods literally down the street that actually staffs the place, has cashiers when you need them, consistently stocks what they advertise, and sells produce that doesn't make you question your life choices. I'll happily pay a few extra dollars for competence and basic customer service. Avoid this Sprouts location like the plague. One star is generous--should be zero.
