NO DEPOSITS AVAILABLE THROUGH ATM?!? On a weekend where else can we deposit? What a joke this bank is.

Too slow! Need more coordination! Both lanes can't do long transactions that take forever! ‍

In my case, I was unable to revive a dormant account, but I was able to re-establish with a new account in-person when I was unable over the phone. In-person they were friendly, patient, and helpful resolving my issues ultimately living up to their reputation where there had been hurdles over the phone. Thanks so much!

I am accustomed to a VERY high level of service at NFCU (which is why I have banked with them for over 25 years!) and what I encountered was quite the opposite. From the moment I approached the counter, Linh never offered a smile or a warm greeting, which set a negative tone for the interaction. Her communication skills were lacking, and I found it difficult to understand her due to her lack of English proficiency. Additionally, she did not take the time to engage in basic pleasantries, such as saying "good afternoon" or even introducing herself, which is typically a standard in customer service. She also took a very long time to resolve the issue, and never explained what was taking so long or update me on what she was doing on the computer. Given that I have received EXCELLENT customer service and communication at other branches and over the phone, I'm surprised to see someone like Linh in a customer-facing position. I believe that effective communication and a friendly demeanor are essential in this line of work. I hope Navy Federal can address these concerns, as I would love to see the standard of service improve from such a reputable institution. She needs A LOT of training ASAP.

As a Wells Fargo customer I've used the inside notary and Medallion Seal services. The branch stocks Euros and UK Pounds in foreign currency for exchange services. Other currencies are available for a fee and must be ordered in advance. Downsides: The ATM sometimes runs out of money after a long weekend. The corner location makes the bank difficult to reach and then exit and return from the same direction.

Wells (Worth Less) Fargo,…read more After a number of significant, rather epic, fails on the part of this Well Fargo office, I find myself in a position where I have no reasonable choice but to end a previously good relationship with the bank. This relationship existed for well over 15 years and across multiple states. I have attempted multiple times to transfer funds via "bill pay" to pay out a trust balance. The system does apparently not allow that. After several unsuccessful attempts, I called tech support and they were unable to correct the situation. Today I went to my nearest WF Bank. The clerk displayed ineptitude, or maybe just laziness, and stated she was not able to help me. The person I was speaking with said "I don't understand what the system is doing and don't know how to fix it." Then she told me to go home and call their 800 number. All this over a "little" $20,000 transaction, and, forget the fact that I have, as she saw and noted, another $50k in other accounts with them. Grrr, Well enough said. I give up on you Wells Fargo. All my accounts with you will be closed as soon as possible. Good bye.

It just happened to me on a trip outside my home of LA. I had an initial uber charge accepted and then some small charges accepted, and then 2 days later, a dinner charge and another uber charge declined. The key point I am trying to make is that although they claim to alert the customer immediately why, I never got either an email or instant text alert asking if a charge was legit. I had set up fraud alerts to go to both text and email, but in all cases this week, I received zero alerts of any kind via any method. Other credit companies immediately alert customers and then call the customers if they don't hear back. I basically had the manager today blame the algorithm, but she couldn't prove the email or text alert was sent to me(neither were) when the charges were declined. So they have weak tech support so if you make the alerts in your profile go to your phone or email, there is no way to know for sure its' that way on CapitalOne's end. Just a Mickey Mouse organization.

Apparently I wasn't notified of my $39 membership fee in January and was then assessed a $25 past due fee plus interest. In February I was assessed $45 fee plus interest for non-payment. When I was sent a notice from Credit Karma that my credit score dropped 40 points, after having a perfect payment record for the last 10 years, I called Capital One. The young lady got the fee and interest removed for February, however they would not change my credit report nor remove the Jan charge. We are talking about $39 membership fee, for a card I don't use and have had for years. Why don't I use it, because the interest rate 28%. Capital One has no one to speak to except the one person I spoke to on the phone and no Sr manager to speak to. This is pathetic customer service. I have two bank accounts, another card with them and this is how they treat their customers. Oh and if you want to complain to their credit dispute department, you have to send all your personal identity information by US Mail for them to even review it. If you aren't getting the message about how much Capital One sucks, I hope you do now. Closing accounts just makes your credit score worse....
