They have cheery employees inside and all around the store. The cashiers are sweet. The men in the back with lumber and bricks etc are BOMB. They load your vehicle out in the yard. Even if you buy something large or heavy inside, they walk it out without even asking. They just do. This is the kind of place you want to work at. Where everyone just does their job. As a last-ditch effort, I checked the local big-box stores, but nothing looked promising. Then I remembered McFadden-Dale and decided to make the trip before they closed. They didn't have the exact 6-32 x 7/16", but they did have 6-32 x 1/2". The staff was incredibly helpful and took the time to check the thread pitch to make sure they'd work. Best of all, four screws cost me just $0.56 instead of nearly $20--and I didn't end up with another 40 or 90 extras I'd now have to find uses for. Their credit card system was down, so it was cash only. They also close at 2 PM on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays.
