They breached our contract by attempting to use reclaimed lumber, after which they attempted to raise the quoted price. They admitted they were in over their heads and not sure how to complete the job. At this time I terminated the contract and asked for a detailed invoice and refund. They provided an invoice for work that has not been completed and refuse to give me any type of refund. I have photos that show that the work was not completed. They did do some work, however some of what they did had to be re-done since they put insulation in before starting the job and it was contaminated with mold that had not yet been cleaned up. The work that they did finish was a partial demolition and they purchased insulation. They left piles of debris in my yard and under the house. They did not replace any joists or bring in any new lumber. I have filed complaints with the BBB and ohio attorney general in hopes to get some of my money back. I do not recommend and would give them zero stars if that was an option.
