Breaks my spirit to have to write this - but I refuse to be taken advantage of and ghosted after…read morepaying Jamian for a job that was extremely sloppy and unfinished Had a door system installed (recommended by Jamian) to create a 3 season room on my back porch. Jamian came, measured and ordered the door system. I waited patiently for parts to arrive in 8 weeks. I had other work to be done in the interim. Jamian reached out before door parts arrived stating he was looking for smaller jobs to do. I told him (in a text message) I needed ceiling fans installed- and would have the fans the following night. Never heard back from him. He tried to tell me he was waiting for me to tell him when I had the fans. I referred him back to our text message. No comment from Jamian I had already paid Jamian $2500 for the door system. Installation was quoted at $500 He spent MAYBE 6 hours installing the door system for my "3-season room". When done there were multiple "holes to the outside", cracks of open space all around the door and huge gaps between the bottom of the door and the floor. Also - to fill in extra space between the edge of the door and the window he pieced with multiple pieces of wood. HORRIBLE! He said he would be back the following week to fix all the gaps. Stupid me Paid him the full $500 install fee trusting he would be back (his mother is a friend of mine) Well he did come back - without notifying me he was coming or had been there to do the work. I only knew because I noticed a rug was moved. When I looked to see what had been done I was beyond shocked - he did a lousy job of putting a thin coat of black caulk around the edges - literally looked like a 3-year old finger painted it on, left drips of black caulk on the brand new vinyl windows, Put a door sweep that when cut to size is completely crooked and no threshold, and stuck a small piece of rubber that halfway filled one of the many gaps. When I called to discuss this issues, his wife called me instead and said the door frame was not square so he couldn't make it the 3-season I wanted. I had to re-send text messages to her as she also tried to discredit previous messages Jamian and I had shared. His wife said he would be back the following week to discuss the matter. That was 2 weeks ago - and now they are ghosting me - no return text messages or phone calls. Disgusting!! He is a great Salesman but that's about it. BEWARE! I have already contacted a lawyer and have been advised to take this to small claims court - text messages and pictures tell is all!
