During my very first assessment, he explained the root cause of my pain (something no one else had done) and created a clear, personalized treatment plan. Within just a few sessions, my pain reduced drastically -- I was able to walk comfortably and get back to my normal routine. Sandeep works closely with you throughout the recovery process. He guided me through the right exercises, core-strengthening, and stretching routines to avoid flare-ups. He's incredibly knowledgeable, patient, professional, and genuinely caring. Plus, he's so entertaining -- you'll never be bored during your sessions! The clinic itself has a calm, welcoming atmosphere and is very well-equipped, which makes the overall patient experience even better. If you're dealing with back pain, slipped disc, sciatica, I highly recommend Sandeep.

Man where do I start. Before finding this place I reached out to different offices and after being…read morehung up on multiple times. I found this wonderful place. Being that I'm from Alabama and not knowing the area they made me feel so welcomed. The receptionist always greeted me with a smile and every time I would called she answered like she was waiting on my call. A really nice women. As for my chiropractor (Dr. Alicia Castelhano) I could spend the next three days explain the lengths that she went through for me. She listened to each one of my issues and where i was thinking that the pain derived from. She made sure is was a comfortable and that it was as painless as possible. She even emailed me stretches that I could do on my own if my pain started acting up again. I've never met another chiropractor that went through what she did to help me with my pain. And that's here in Canada and back home in Alabama. She even asked for my chiropractors information so she could reach out to make sure that he stays on the same regiment as she began to try and correct my issues. To sum up..love them I wish I could take their entire office and place it in Alabama. Hopefully it won't be last time I see them. Best wishes, Bubba

My first experience with this clinic was not satisfactory. But I decided to give them a chance. And…read morefortunately that was the right call. Simon (I guess the owner) is very professional in the way he treats me. He explains very thoroughly all aspects of the treatment and so far I've seen encouraging results. I'm afraid Pepe had the exact opposite experience that I did at this business. I've been seeing…read moreSimon at Acupuncture Shiatsu Clinic for almost 5 years, and have nothing but praise for him. The treatments themselves have been extremely successful in reducing and/or managing chronic lower back pain for me, as well as de-enervation of a nerve in my arm that causes numbness in my fingers and hand. I was given forms to fill out upon my first visit that included an extensive area for providing info about symptoms and history, and on subsequent visits have always been asked if there was anything new or that I'd like to specifically focus on in terms of treatment. The only thing I could possibly mention about ASC that keeps this from being a 5-star review is that the facilities aren't lavish and elegant like an upscale/new age spa - but if they were, their prices would be higher and your health plan likely wouldn't cover all of the charge per visit like with some dental practices. I've always felt comfortable and cared for there, and you have all the privacy you could possibly want within the different treatment rooms. I too was asked the question about insurance, but I believe that Pepe may have misinterpreted the intention. They're not looking to squeeze money out of your wallet, they're looking to determine how much (and how best) they can help you get better without it costing you more than is necessary. The best way to do this is to know what sort of health plan you may be enrolled in, since most of their services are covered. Did you stop to think that Jessica may have had trouble communicating this to you? Why would you not ask to speak to someone else if you couldn't understand her well? Finally, did you not do any research yourself into what acupuncture is, rather than taking the word of your social circle and then doing a geography-based Google search?

The night before got my confirmation call in regards to my next day massage appointments. After showing up, my mother was brought in for her massage and after sitting for 15 minutes waiting for my RMT and watching the receptionist call over and over, and finally get a hold of her i was told she wont be coming in b/c she doesn't feel well. So glad that people take their jobs seriously to NOT bother calling into work and let the staff know. I then booked another appointment and waited out the hr for my mother. I had then booked my boyfriend and myself to go back to back for massages. He went in for his scheduled time, i waited the hour for my appointment then i was told that there was a mistake and my appointment is NOT today rather the following Saturday! When i spoke to the receptionist, i had her repeat 3 times my booking. The receptionist let me know that b/c of all the confusion she would add on an extra 30 mins to the massage when i come in. Well i went in, got ONLY 1 HOUR of a massage and was told that the manager cannot bill the RMT for only 30mins. WOW not true since the last time i was in there were many people waiting for their scheduled 30 min massages!!! HONESTLY, stay far away from this place!
