Fitness has been a major Pilar for my success throughout my nearly 20 year Army career. Teaching and fitness are both passions of mine and when I retired from the army, I thought “why not combine the two”? Thus, the business was born. I focus on enforcing proper form and safety throughout our exercises. I teach you how to use multiple pieces of gym equipment that’s required to hit and activate those muscles you forgot were there. The Boot Camp (6weeks) is by far my most popular package I offer. It’s designed to be educational, but will still give you one heck of a workout. My Boot Camp was designed this way to give you the foundation knowledge of how to exercise and use the equipment in the event you chose to retain me or not after completion. I’m confident that you’ll be able to return the gym on your own to continue towards your fitness goals. Also offered is online coaching as an alternative to in-person training. With this option you’ll get video demonstrations for each exercise to ensure you see what “right” looks like. Whether you’re new to the gym, a regular gym rat, or have let fitness fall to the wayside, I have a plan built just for you. Check out the website, view my plans and packages, and email me with your questions.

I decided to do jump start my fitness routine and did 1-on-1 personal training with Nate for about 4 weeks. The pricing for this was comparable to other gyms. Nate was very knowledgable and really helped me strive towards learning better form, what exercises worked best for my goals, and always changed up my routine so I didn't get bored. The other staff at SF were very friendly and knowledgable as well. The gym does occasionally get crowded from 4pm-7pm after work, and on Saturday mornings, but most gyms typically do. Still, I never really had to wait to get on a machine or equipment during even the busiest times. The facility was always clean and has showers in the locker rooms. Although I did not participate in the group classes, they do have multiple options and it seemed that people got a lot out of them. I would definately recommend Summer's Fitness to my friends and family.

As a newbie who has always been intimidated by gyms, even after having worked in one, this was so, so appreciated. Plus, they have tanning, childcare and a smoothie bar!
