She messaged me right away; I assumed she was concerned about the 1-star rating. She called me several times and texted me saying how sorry she was. I did call her back to kindly let her know I already found another CPA. She convinced me to drop my CPA and went with her instead just to string me along for over 2 weeks with no intention of working on my taxes. She also made accusations about how I switched CPA every year which I have been with the same CPA for over 20 years. She would ask for sensitive documents; I would upload them to the portal within hours. Then I do not hear from her for days. She would text me again days later saying she has questions and would like to schedule a phone/zoom/google meeting. Then I would respond saying I can talk and asked for a time that will work for her. Saturday was one of the options she gave me so I asked if 1pm works for her, she then accuses me of not being reciprocal and weekends are her rest and family time. I will be filing a complaint to the State Board of Accountancy. She is very unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

I suppose I was "spoiled" all my years working with my previous accountant because I never paid over $400 for her services. Cooper CPA charges me well over $1000 for doing my return! One thing that really aggravates me is although I deliver my supporting documents 6 weeks ahead of April 15th, my return is completed during the last week ahead of that deadline! If you are willing to work with a different accountant every year, pay a considerably high fee and anxiously await the review of your return, then Cooper CPA Group is for you.
