Jason was one of the few that gave me multiple options from expensive to least expensive option. I was even told by some that a repair wouldn't even be possible and that I would have to end up replacing my entire door frame. Yet, he showed up and not being able to fix it never came out of his mouth. He took care of my problem at a fraction of the cost that I was quoted by other handymen. Extremely affordable and definitely impressed with his knowledge. Before he left, he came for one thing and I actually had him checking out little things here and there that I had overlooked in my home over the years. Will definitely use again!

Beware! The most unreliable person in the area. One year later and I still don't have a completed…read moreproject. Unfortunately, my SIL paid before the job was completed which I warned him not to do. Now I am going to have to file with small claims court. The work that was done was so bad, example: he put a latch on one of the gates that fell off in 3 days. Q didn't seem to know how to fix it and my daughter bought the stuff at the hardware store and fixed it herself. Put the gate on the wrong side of the fence, left huge gaps with the tencing so the dogs got out. Here are some of the 'excuses' he has given me for the past year for why he hasn't been able to complete the work: --had covid --workers had covid --injured his back --working out of state --thought his workers completed the job and had no idea it wasn't finished --had to reorder the materials --had to finish another job and fell behind --made a mistake on the scheduling and mine was actually scheduled for May, not April. It is now April and still hasn't come back. Many promises of coming to finish the job, never shows up. Here is a clue for anyone who wishes to check this person out. Call the phone number a few times. There is no voice mail, he screens his calls and won't answer if it is someone he doesn't want to deal with.

I am such a happy woman. I had roof damage at a rental I own from the storm months ago. My…read moreinsurance company paid out very little (but that's another story.) I would have to come out of pocket for the roof replacement. . I initially started working with another roofing company months ago that I felt like I was begging them to do the job. First, I was going to be put on the schedule, was already on a schedule, but it was going to be 2 to 3 weeks. Last Thursday, I literally just Prayed and went to the Internet. Rob contacted me right away after reaching out to a few companies. Not only did he say I could start your job right away, he educated me on the type of insurance I needed in the future for both my primary property and my rental in Clarksville, so I would not have to come out of pocket again for any major home loss. He lowered his price a bit to fit my budget, so I didn't have to come out of pocket so much. I called on Thursday, it is Tuesday and I have a new beautiful roof! They started at 7 am and done by 4 pm with cleanup like they were never there. Paid and life is good! His associate Lenny was awesome and on the ground with the crew. I thank both of them for professionalism, hardworking and making this seamless. They also do other work like gutter, siding and some home interior work. Don't hesitate, call Action Roofing first. Bonded, insured and a wealth of experience and knowledge!

I was referred to Jake Carter by Stewart Builder Supply after a frustrating experience with a…read morecontractor who ordered materials from the store but botched my newly raised cathedral ceiling. Since moving into my home last September, finding reliable contractors has been a real challenge. I decided to trust the referral, hoping the contractor's expertise would justify the added cost of redoing the work correctly. From our very first conversation, Jake's knowledge was immediately evident upon discussing the problem. His quote ended up being surprisingly reasonable compared to others I've worked with during ongoing construction projects. He and his brother were professional, a pleasure to deal with, and delivered outstanding results. I can't recall a more positive experience with a contractor. As someone who's hands-on with home projects and particular about quality, I was thoroughly impressed, especially since I tend to notice every imperfection. Jake replaced the poorly installed ceiling boards and trim with precision and craftsmanship that completely transformed the space with better materials. The difference is night and day. Jake is meticulous and clearly takes pride in his work. Having recently started his own business after leaving a partnership, he doesn't yet have an online presence, so I wanted to share this review to give credit where it's due. If you're looking for high-quality work from someone who truly stands behind their craft, I highly recommend giving Jake a call.
