She can tell when I was in pain so she would slow down even if I didn't ask. I took a leap of faith by buying a 6 session package for my bikini area because it was a good deal. Thankfully I knew it worked shortly after because I started seeing results 1 month after the first session. After my bikini sessions were completed, I bought another 6 session package for my legs. Fast forward to now, I only have to spot shave small areas on my legs and I don't even grow hair around my bikini area anymore. If you are looking to start laser hair removal, look no further! I highly recommend this place.

I reserve my reviews on laser for at least after 1 year of finishing my treatments. I had laser…read moredone in many places, Prestige being one of them; I had my upper lip and upper legs. Till this day I'm still waxing and shaving both areas, since I moved out of Miami and I'm not close to the only place that I did my laser and have lasting results (Lasoderm) I'm stuck to continue shaving and waxing until I find another place. My friend also did laser at Prestige and she had better results than me which tells me it may be because of her tone of skin being the Caucasian type and I'm more olive skin that the machine they use here which is the Candela Yag did not worked for me. I pretty much threw my money off the drain with getting laser here. However, the owner David is super nice and accommodating. I wish my results would have been better after I completed my treatment but they were not.

The main reason why I recommend this place is the price along with a quality of the laser. The…read moresecond reason is because both David and his wife are very personal, professional and easy to talk to. My treatment: I am a pretty light Hispanic woman with thick black hair. I decided to do my underarms because I had to shave my underarms every. single day. I also decided to do Brazilian because I prefer being hairless in that area. I am currently on my 6th laser hair removal session for my underarms and the 5th for my Brazilian. I am sooo happy with my results so far. Currently I have no more growth of coarse black hair at all and only patchy thin hair. I don't have to shave until I go to my next appointment. It takes about 8-12 sessions that you do every 4-6 weeks. Is there pain? The underarms are very tolerable, I almost don't pay attention to it even at the highest setting. However, the Brazilian, oh man, you can get sweaty from the session and sometimes you have to ask them to give you a break buuuut I will take the few seconds of pain for not shaving and would still recommend laser to everyone even in this sensitive area. You won't regret it! :)

She said that the staff told her she has "more hair than their average customer." This sort of comment is detrimental to the mental health of a 19 year old girl. Why would a place that specializes in HAIR REMOVAL shame a young girl for having hair, something that is extremely normal?? This is a comment she thinks about daily. Truly. It may have been an offhand comment that was not meant to offend, but it did. This sort of language is completely unacceptable and I am very very disappointed. -- Dr. McGee, PhD of Food Science

Boy am I glad I read the Google reviews for this medspa and didn't go by the other review posted…read morehere. I had the exact opposite experience that person did. I have been indulging in medspa services for 20 years now, I have done it all. Botox, Juvéderm, Ultherapy, Dysport, Restylane... you name it. And I have visited different practitioners both here in Miami and in other states and I know a good one when I see one. My experience at Laria today was exceptional. First of all I didn't have an appointment and they figured out a way to accommodate me, as they were busy (on a Tuesday afternoon? Good sign.) Then my medical provider and owner, Jose Laria patiently discussed with me what I was interested in doing and what my expectations were. I have some very complicated requirements for lip augmentation because my lips are completely uneven and have been getting thinner and thinner with age. I had also developed vertical lines on my upper lip that looked like smokers lines but I've never smoked. He instantly understood what I was describing and the results prove it. He overcompensated on the top lip to turn it out and up - the before and after pictures tell the whole story. I know everyone is different but I had no bleeding and very little bruising. I'm sure once the little bit of swelling settles I will have the lips I have been wanting and I didn't have to go and spend $1000 at a plastic surgeon's office. I would recommend these people to even my pickiest friends. Other pluses: beautiful, clean reception area and treatment rooms; if you're lucky you'll be greeted but his wife also a practitioner and owner. All of the products are stored and stocked away properly and they're located on 57th Ave. and Bird Road, in the center of everything. Don't let one intentionally damaging interview make this decision for you before you are able to view this company's Google reviews and take a look at their Instagram page. I'm sharing my before and after pictures, keeping in mind I just had them done today and they will settle a bit but I am over the moon about them and I will be going to Laria for all sorts of procedures. Don't pay attention to the other review here, there are just people who are predisposed to be unhappy and not want to understand policies and procedures or The science behind the process. Unfortunately, negative reviews get attention. If you need a little glow up, consider Laria MedSpa.
