There is a dumpster by the drive thru and I threw a Walmart bag full of trash that was in my car into it before I placed my order and an older Mexican lady came running out to tell me that I can't throw my trash in their private dumpster. Wow, if that's how you guys treat customers then . read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - The ultimate club sandwich with jalapeño chips and I forgot the name of the smoothie but it was in the "Greens" section. - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

Finally! A healthy fast food drive thru in Lafayette! My 15 year old son turned me on to this place, so that should speak volumes about how the food tastes. The flatbread sandwiches are freshly made. Smoothies are made with no added sugar and are delish. The real deal folks. read more

Had the Caribbean Jerk and Pomegranate Plunge, everything taste good with my order. Lauren didn't know how to spell my name, even when I told her it was with a V and still had to spell it out; possible she couldn't hear me though and will give her the benefit of doubt. At least she was cute... I also noticed a girl in the back coughed in her gloved hand and then went back to preparing food (she really should have immediately washed her hands and change gloves). Luckily I was already enjoying my wrap. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Fast service, taste good and fairly priced. - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

Awesome awesome awesome! Great customer service, great location, and they are doing the best they can!

I give the team, food and smoothies a 5*!! However, assuming the manager (the guy wearing the blue shirt) on 8/12 around 2:30pm was an a$$! I know fast food can get hectic but do not talk o your employee like they are slow or incompetent! Instead of talking to them the way you did and probably do every day, jump in and give them a hand and ASK what they need help with! I cannot stand to go in a fast food place and see the "manager" throwing orders around to the team and or being a total c*nt! read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - The "manager" - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

I should give this zero stars. This girl Wendy was so ridiculous while I was out having brunch with my girlfriends. She kept yelling and talking bad about the drive through people, continued to talk about her life problems and talked about beating some people up. She would groan every time someone pulled up to the drive through window. She also cursed numerous times throughout my visit. I think this is a bit inappropriate considering children come here... read more

Want to like this place so bad, the concept is great but they need to not offer food in the drive thru and just smoothies bc there is a very long wait every time we go. We've given it one too many chances. We waited in the drive thru multiple times for over 15 minutes, this past time we were the 4th car and we waited 28 minutes! We've received food that has been so awful multiple times. Definitely not going back. Ordered a Caribbean jerk bowl and the picture is what I received. No sauce , chicken was awful read more

My smoothie & quesadilla was made quickly for lunch, I was in & out. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And my Blueberry Bliss smoothie was blended to perfection and my Jerk chicken quesadilla was on point & not to spicy. Thanks for the awesome meal you guy I will definitely be back. read more

This place is great. Smoothies are delicious and everything is made fresh to order. Try the detox island green smoothie.

Everything I order here tastes fresh and delish! Best smoothie is the Island green! So far I've had the Baja chicken wrap and the hummus wrap! Go good! Kale/apple slaw is amazing! I'm so glad they have one by the hospitals now. I go there on my lunch break everyday. read more

Jordan was the sweetest taking our order. The ambience of the restaurant gives off a tropical feeling and it is the best. Hope to come back more when I pass through the city now that the Tropical Smoothie in Morgan City had closed down 2 years ago. read more

The line moves entirely too slow compared to the other two locations. I can't even enjoy my break because I spend majority of it just waiting in line trying to get to the window read more

Horrible service, No manners, Long waits for small orders even when not busy.. Try another location if you want good food...

I'm so tired of the absolutely TERRIBLE service at this location. The last THREE times I've come, I've had a horrible experience. This past time, I came and ordered 2 sandwiches (one of which I had a free coupon for from last time they got my order wrong) and they left out the one that I actually paid for. Had to turn around and drive back to get it because I was starving and needed lunch. When I got there, there were two employees at a table. One appeared to be clocked out but the other one (whom caused one of the issues I'd had in the past) still had on a headset and appeared to be on the clock. But there she was, ignoring me, talking to her friend and playing on her phone at the table. I will NEVER be coming here again. I will go out of my way to go to any of the other locations in Lafayette before I spend any more money at this location and I suggest everyone else do the same. read more

Never had to wait so long in a drive thru somewhere so consistently...service isn't anywhere near the other locations. Poor management obviously read more

Every time I come here I have to sit in line for over 20 mins, I let it go thinking it was just the first two times but no today there were two cars in line and I literally had to wait in line for 20 mins in a drive thru for two drinks and two good items. Until you guys get it together, I am going to pass on tropical smoothie and go to smoothie king. I love your food hut I can't afford to be late for work anymore. read more
