Imagine one day you get the worst phone call that you could possibly get. You're one and only child, your 20 year-old son was in a horrific motorcycle accident that took his life. This can't be real, but it is. And you do everything you can to just stay alive, to stay sane, to process any parts that you can. You breathe in and you breathe out, that's almost all you can muster right now. Now imagine you wake up five days in, you have to go to the funeral home and sign all the necessary papers needed to proceed with what comes next. It's heartbreaking, it's confusing and it just feels wrong. But this is what it is and you have to continue on. And you do it, you do what needs to be done. Afterwards you go back to your empty house and collapse. You need a minute, you have to catch your breath. But there's a knock at the door. You open to see the mail carrier holding a certified letter that you have to sign for. You have no idea what it could be, so you open it and this is what you see... 5 days. It's been five days since my son died. I still haven't gotten the police report. I still haven't gotten the death certificate or medical exams. I'm still in the process of notifying everyone. But the tow company that retrieved my son's broken bike while his broken body was being taken away, has now put a lien on that bike? How can this be real? How can this be acceptable? How can a company operate in such a way as to take advantage of people in this situation. How can there be such a lack of grace? It's an absence of morals. My 2008 Ford Mustang was involved in a crash caused by a tire blowout, and the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) arranged for Tron's Auto Towing to tow my vehicle. While the tow was expected, my experience with Tron's customer service has been very frustrating. Despite repeated requests, they refused to provide an itemized invoice before demanding full payment of $1,200. When I tried to schedule vehicle pickup, I was informed they were closed for the holiday weekend--even though Google shows they are open 24 hours. Their lack of transparency and poor communication, along with threats of placing a lien without proper notice, made an already stressful situation worse. It was not blocking anything. No tow away signs anywhere around . When I went to pick it up the next day, they demanded I pay over $600 to receive my $600 Chinese scooter back. Tron's was recommended by a local dealer service manager. I called and they sent a subcontractor, Doug's towing and a 78 year old man with a bad knee. What should have taken 20 minutes took well over an hour to pull my vehicle out of the garage. The tow driver then was unable to boost the battery so the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. Upon arrival at the dealership a mechanic immediately boosted the battery and moved the vehicle into the garage area. The tow driver either hooked up the booster wrong or it was not sufficiently charged for a large suv. On our way back home from Orlando we experienced a massive blowout on our GMC Denali. My husband google local wreckers and Tron's Auto & Towing was the the only one open. They arrived very quickly. This worker immediately assessed the problem. And determined that it was a blowout. In which time he offered to change that massive tire. His name was Miguel, I'll call him our guardian Angel from above. He had a great personality and we could tell he enjoys his job. He did a phenomenal job getting our truck back in working form. Yay! Trons Towing came to cocoa beach to tow my car. The technician(if you could call him that) didn't know what he was doing and ripped off my front bumper on my 60,000 Shelby GT350. Look at the pics people. Not only did he do that but also significant undercarriage damage. Realized he just damaged the car , puts the car down . Removes his tow equipment and takes pics of the damage. Only to send the pics to HQ to say" the car had these damages when I got here" . That's what kind of people they are. I received a notice that my vehicle was towed on the 8th May 2022. I sold this vehicle to a dealership 16th February 2022. I contacted Tron's to advise the above scenario. The representative was NOT interested and stated that the DMV has me down as the owner. I stated well they are mistaken and you really need to ascertain the true owner as they are selling the vehicle on 27th June 2022. I am trying to find the owner of the vehicle as he/ she could be hospitalized or otherwise indisposed. What a scam!! most aweful experience ever, i went to pick up my husbands car as he was in an accident and the paramedics removed him from the car and the police who came to the situation had the car towed. my husband was in pain and should not have had to be driving, so i called three times to check about price, hours, location, where to pick up the car, etc. i told them i was the wife of the owner of the car and the scenario and would be by to pick it up. not once did they tell me they would not allow anyone other than the owner on the registration to pick up the car. that is insane, they would not allow me to take the car so my husband had to get in our other car and drive in pain and it was 35 minutes south of us and they charged almost $400 it is hwy robbery- read more

Public beware of Tron's Auto Repair & Towing!! On August 22, 2022, while riding his motorcycle my husband was hit by an automobile. Four days later, I learned that his cycle had been towed by Tron's Auto Repair & Towing's Cocoa location. I called their office multiple times for instructions on what was needed to retrieve his motorcycle. Initially, I was brushed off each call with excuses and false promises of returned calls going to be made. But realizing a return call was never going to be made I attempted to reach out again by email that same afternoon. Days later, on August 29, 2022, after a barrage of phone calls I had placed, I was informed that due to my name not being on the title I would not be allowed to retrieve the cycle from their custody without a notarized statement from my husband granting permission along with his Florida issued Driver's License. My husband had been intubated for seven days at the time of the conversation and would remain in critical condition for several days following, until September 5, 2022 when he was extubated. Relieved with his progress I gave an additional day for him to retrieve his bearings and gain strength before confronting him with the necessary documentation requirements from Tron's Auto Repair & Towing. Upon gaining the required items I was instructed to have, I placed another call to Tron's Auto Repair & Towing so that I could know the amount of money I would need with me to retrieve my husband's cycle. For my first call that day, I was speaking with a representative, placed on hold, and then manually disconnected from the call. Immediately I called again, and once someone answered I repeated my request for information. The person to whom I was speaking during my second call was Tron Cotman, the owner of Tron's Auto Repair & Towing. After listening to my pleas for assistance, he berated me and raised his tone, nearly yelling, claiming he was not under any obligation to accept the documentation I had, and that he had final approval of releasing my ailing husband's cycle. With my back against a wall from my multitude of futile encounters with this company attempting to regain my husband's property, I had to threaten the possibility of legal action against them. Tron Cotman was refusing to accept my legally notarized documents, proof of ownership, or marital status and refused to take my husband's precarious medical situation into account. This person was extraordinarily rude, demeaning, and insulting. Tron Cotman verbally assaulted me, yelled profanity and explicative language, and maintained his position at holding my husband's personal property hostage. This attack was unprovoked and unnecessary. After needlessly attacking me, he (Tron Cotman) stated he was ending our call and placed me on a hold line. I ended my side of the call and had to take a few minutes to compose myself before once again attempting to communicate with a company that appeared to be more of a hostile extortion terrorist organization. I placed another call to Tron's Auto Repair & Towing and the call was answered by the lady I had first spoken with who hung up the call while having me on hold. This representative stated she would have to review the account and would return my call within the hour having an estimate of charges. After the hour passed, along with several others, I placed another call shortly after 4pm and spoke with a different person who stated they would also be returning my phone call after a review of the account and provide me with an amount to reclaim my husband's cycle. On September 8, 2022, at 9pm, I received a phone call from Tron's Auto Repair & Towing stating that I could pick-up my husband's cycle the next day due to being after hours for the office. I was faulted for missing "my window" that day considering the office closes at 5pm. I was changed nearly one-thousand dollars to regain ownership of my husband's crashed cycle due to towing and storage fees. Storage fees that could have been greatly reduced had the company simply supplied the necessary information upfront. I experienced and uphill battle from August 26 - September 09, 2022, with Tron's Auto Repair & Towing where I have been insulted, ridiculed, humiliated, outraged, vilified, and cursed to prolong their conservatorship over my husband's property so they may gain monies they do not deserve. Terroristic tactics were implemented to extort additional money from my family after suffering a horrendous experience of my husband's accident. Recently on the evening of 05/21/2016 I had a bearing failure while trailering my boat and found myself stranded on the side of a major highway. I called a few other places listed on the web before I got to Trons Auto & Towing and was unable to find service for my particular problem . I called and spoke with a very professional and courteous woman that assured me that #1 they had the equipment that could get my boat off the side of the road without damaging it #2 that a very skilled and experienced driver was operating that equipment and #3 he was on the way and would be there within the hour . I thought wow ! finally some relief from a very stressful situation. Well Jerry showed up in about 20 minutes with a state of the art flatbed truck that easily lifted my boat and trailer on to its bed and after tying it down we were off to their shop where Jerry said they could fix my trailer . This was great news to me because i would of had to have it towed a second time to a repair shop come Monday because I am incapable of such repairs .. Long story short they called with an estimate I thought was more than fair and I okayed the work and it was ready for pick up by Tuesday afternoon , I love fishing and since the repair i've already had the boat back out a couple of times and it works great with no issues so I had a very good experience with Tron and I will definitely recommend them in the future whenever towing or auto service is needed by me or my friends read more
