First, as others have written, the Tarte Flambe is excellent. The vibe in Binchstub is excellent too. It's just filled, intimate, and everyone is pleasant because they are enjoying good food and drink. Also, the service was awesome. I wish I had got the woman's name behind the bar but she even acknowledged wanting to make it a great experience for everyone there. Binchstub made my one night in Strasbourg even better. They served spoiled food to American tourists, and I had sudden diarrhea and vomiting, fever and chills for the next day and night. The health department should close this place down!!! The likely dish was either octopus, chicken, or salad. It is infuriating that a restauranteur will take a risk to public safety, on questionably 'over-the-edge' spoiled food that should have been thrown out instead of serving to the tourists. Beware of the friendly and fast service. I hope to not have liver damage and health complications. I almost went to hospital and will get blood tests done when I get back home.
