I gave birth at Trios Womens and Children Birthing Center. I will be totally honest when I say some of the nurses and staff were a God send when I was in labor. I still think about them and am so very grateful they were there for me and my family at such a pivotal moment in our lives. That short, older lady nurse with short hair could do us all a favor and retire. She was horrible. No bedside manner. Twice I got spoiled milk delivered to my room. Just what a new mother wants lol. I called the cafeteria and told them when I got spoiled milk the first time to which a lady came in from the cafeteria and proceeded to give me yet another(past date) spoiled milk. I'm like thanks a lot lady.... Over all not a bad experience but not amazing either. Won't be returning here for the next baby. read more

I was involuntarily hospitalized in the Trios during a vacation in the USA due to a stroke. First of all - as a German, I am only used to the German healthcare system. My stay was unexpectedly very positive, as I had previously only heard bad things about the US healthcare system. The nursing care was very close to the patient, I always had a contact person who took care of my concerns and the doctors were unexpectedly approachable and made a great effort to explain my state of health in an understandable way. The hospital is still quite new, so the technology here is also state of the art. The catering was a dream. As a patient without dietary restrictions, I had a free choice of the menu on offer. Everything I ate was freshly prepared and tasty. All in all, the experience was great and I would like to thank the nurses who took such good care of me. Finally - I don't understand the negative reviews here in any way. Compared to other clinics around the world and the healthcare systems in other countries, I think Trios deserves an A+. The points criticized in other reviews are, in my opinion, whining at the highest level and it is sometimes shameful what exaggerated expectations patients have nowadays. I assume that these people themselves would not be in a position to meet their own expectations in their own profession. That is highly embarrassing but seems to reflect the curren zeitgeist. Trios - keep up the high level of service, I really enjoyed every minute of it, even though the reason for my stay was more on the unpleasant side. read more

had a follow up re-feral for a heart attack the doctor was 3 hours late to the appointment there were 4 patients waiting the doctor had no clue why i was there also he was doing patient by [ phone and his laptop ] business in front of me on other clients with names phone calls and he left my room multiple times to take calls pretty sure he violated the hippa law multiple times by talking about other patients in front of me than he went off the deep end said he would hospitalize i need a defibrillator i should admit you now to the hospital do you have insurances he asked this is 50,000 thousand dollars and mumble some stuff to his nurse we will get you a med vest some one will call you tomorrow until than you will not do anything he walked out of the room i looked at the nurse guess we are done anyway we left there going what the heck this was a friday its been 9 days no call from his office or follow up the doctor i seen should not be in medicine trios DR BERGER should not be at your facility this is the worst experience i have ever had i gave it a 1 star for the nurse it deserves none END OF RANT read more

I got thrown up there because they were a special hospital to take care of me and I had a heart attack so as far away from home and they took very good care of me all of my nurses and respiratory team in the head doctors all of them are so kind and so loving to me and they even put me in a cabin sent me to my front door which was over seven hours away. They were great hospital and I highly recommend them recommend them. read more

The care was fine, slow, but it got the job done. The billing has been a nightmare. We have good insurance and were out of network, but they have a contract with Trios, this was over two years ago, I paid my copay, they sent me bills, I called them, clarified the insurance, they sent me another bill. I called my insurance, they talked to a manager, called me back and said it was taken care of, that was over 6 months ago and now they've started calling again asking for another $900. The amount of time and stress that they have caused me is ridiculous. We were on our way to Spokane and I wish I'd just told my son to hold on for another two hours with a broken foot, the physical pain he endured would have been far less than the crap we've had to deal with. If you have another option and don't have them specifically for insurance, take the extra time and make the drive. Fortunately I don't drive through the area often, but if I ever need services again in the area, I'll do my best to go somewhere else. read more

I suffered a TIA episode on Sunday morning of Labor Day weekend and was rushed by my wife to Trios. The emergency staff and medical staff were excellent in treating my condition and assuring there should be no latent problems. The staff were all professional and very courteous and I felt very confident during my visit. The diagnostic equipment and staff are first rate. I highly recommend Trios. read more

I had my baby here and some nurses were great but others where rude one of the nurses lost my baby's blood work and I was so irritated she acted like poking my baby again wasn't a big deal I also had nurses who were super rude about helping me up out of bed I had gotten a c section. read more

I have had horrible service with the TRIOS referral system. I use a Trios primary doctor and use Kadlec specialty doctors. When I need a referral to a specialist I specify the doctor I want to go to and my Doctor provides the appropriate info to Trios Central Referral. They always refer to their doctors so that always has to be cleaned up which takes time. This time I have been waiting for 33 days to get two referrals to specialty doctors. Trios Central Referral called on July 17th and said they were completed. I call my insurance company today and they have nothing. Each situation there is always an issue. If you need urgent care with a specialist don't rely on TRIOS. read more

I have been to KGH so many times in 2008 and every time I go I get excellent nurses and I always get the same doctor who is awesome! I don't like the waiting room but other then that it's a very good hospital. I have gone many times with my 2 year old daughter for colds and ear infections. They always take great care of us. I even had to go once for me because I was dehydrated and they quickly got me an IV and warm blankets( it was during the winter and I was so cold when I came in) All I have to say is I'm glad this hospital is so close to me! read more

Irritated and disappointed. Attended the 21st Annual Sports Physical event. We've been attending this event since my son was in 7th grade. This year was the worst. Estimated 500+ people, only two scales for weigh-ins, Lines so long we waited 2.5 hours, only to be told they were bringing 5 more doctors at 11am (closing). The volunteers do not know the law and my 16 year old son DID NOT need parental consent to be treated today. Your volunteers should be educated on the age of consent for minors and not refuse treatment for someone who is 16 years old and knows his rights only to have his angry parent come down with the RCW. I was irritated that Trios workers said it was a school district requirement. It is not. I sign a separate form for the school district for my child to participate in sports. It has nothing to do with having a medical evaluation. (RCW 71.34.530 Age of consent--Outpatient treatment of minors.) We eventually asked for our money back and I we went to the Express Care and got an appointment right away. It cost me more $ but it was worth it. I'm glad we won't have to do this again. To provide some context I've been going to Dr. Nazar in the Trios Clinics for approximately 15 years and I've found him to be a competent and caring physician. Now for the issue, the Trios staff is about as incompetent as you will find. I'm on maintenance medications that requires blood testing and I've lost count how many times the orders for the blood draws have been fouled up or not sent in. My insurance carrier uses a mail order pharmacy and without fail every 90 days I have some issue to deal with getting prescriptions filled. I have taken this up with the Trios Patient Manager as well as the Clinic Manger and nothing has been done to correct the problem. The most recent incident I was promised a phone call from the Trios Clinic Manager that was never honored. So if your time is worth anything and you don't enjoy frustration and continuous run arounds steer clear of the Trios Clinics. So farewell Dr. Nazar, I believe you're a good physician, but I'm not going to deal with Trios anymore. read more

Never never NEVER going to this place again. I was in the new Southridge site for hip replacement surgery a year ago and the nurses were terrible. They just point to the sink to show you where the wash cloths, tooth brush etc are and leave the room. Hello ?!?!?!?! I was instructed to NOT get out of bed unless there was assistance. I was lying on the bed waiting for assistance to change into night clothes. The nurse came in and saw I was on the bed and said "Oh good! you are already for bed!" then left. I slept in my clothes that night. I am surprised I got food brought to me. Could I have called for assistance? Yes. But I shouldn't have to. These are common everyday things nurses are supposed to be monitoring and making sure get done for patients. The billing department is horrible too. No one knows what is going on there as you get a different story everytime. The ER docs are uncaring. I went in for abdominal pain. They did a CT which showed nothing. All he said was " I don't know what's wrong with you. Do you want pain meds?" Really? NO!!!! I want to know what is wrong with me. He could have said" I am not sure what is going on. There is nothing serious showing up on the CT. Follow up with your doctor for a possible referral to a specialist." instead of treating me like a drug seeker. read more

do not recommend this place to have your first or any birth delivery, two of my relatives caught a staph infection in there breast tissue thanks to the un-sterilized equipment used for child bearing. now they are taking anti bio-tics and breast feeding is contraindicated due to the medicine. read more
