The attention to detail during our visit was excellent. The service, from the moment we made the reservation until the moment we left, was exceptional.
We loved the appetizers - we tried the pasteis de angu (cormeal fritters) and sausage with cassava. The accompanying pepper sauce is divine.
For the main courses, we ordered the tutu (a type of bean stew) and the porco sem mágoas.
The porco sem mágoas was divine! The tutu, however, disappointed us a little. The presentation was wonderful, the pork loin was also perfectly cooked, but the tutu fritter was a bit hard and inconvenient, and the amount of banana puree was a bit excessive for the dish. The eggs also added a sweet touch to the dish, which made it unbalanced and heavy.
For dessert, we had the pudim, and it was very good!!! The plums added a freshness to the dish. I loved it!
All the drinks were delicious! We had the labor de galo, galeguinho and lagoinha. We also had a mineiro dessert wine that went really well with the pudim read more
