My mother was seen as a new patient yesterday, and the entire experience was excellent. From the moment we arrived, the office staff was warm and welcoming. Lauren Morton was especially outstanding--she took the time to thoroughly understand my mother's mental health history, including her schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and showed genuine concern for her overall well-being. We were able to schedule an appointment within just a few days, and a two-week follow-up was arranged to closely monitor any prescription changes. I truly can't find a single negative aspect of our visit. Our first impression of this practice was overwhelmingly positive. read more

I had the best experience here. Everyone is very professional and very friendly. They take my concerns seriously and have help me a lot. They provide excellent care. read more

Was referred here by my PCP and did not have a positive experience. Was not greeted by anyone coming in, and I wasn't sure where to go or what to do; and the employee behind the glass window never even opened it to let me know I was in the right place, ask me my name, etc. Evaluator typed on the computer during my session which was distracting and distressing. The results were delivered with a detectable amount of apathy and dismissiveness, and I was left feeling even more shame, guilt, and confusion than before my first appt. Fortunately, I have since found a provider that I have had a 100% opposite experience with, and had I read reviews or talked with people in the mental health space before my appt, I would have declined my doctor's referral. read more

I was referred to Trinity Wellness in Wilmington by my PCP after I developed debilitating anxiety and other issues while recovering from Covid. I read the online reviews and was apprehensive - the last thing I needed was to try to get care from a difficult practice. Kristen Mingia helped me get from that dark place to feeling like myself again and I'm so grateful. She is kind, caring, patient and very easy to open up to. I don't understand reports of issues with the office staff - they've helped with insurance issues and I have had zero billing complaints. read more

they are ALWAYS late for phone appointment, charge you ahead of time. don't sound knowledgeable during appointments and I've called and left three messages to book labs and literally no one ever calls back. they are horrible. moved on. read more

Although their doctors are knowledgeable, the front office is impossible to get on the phone.

I have been a patient at Trinity for years now. Kristen Mingia is my current therapist and she is awesome! Very caring and up to date with my concerns. Stephanie, Megan and Amanda at the front desk are always great as well. When I see the negative reviews I can't believe it, imagine that not all patients are in a good place and take it out on others... When my therapist retired a couple of years ago they were quick to connect me with someone else and I will always be grateful! read more

When they called to schedule an appointment, the super-rude receptionist aske for a credit card to charge $70. When asked why, she said "We charge you $70 on your credit card for a medical check". I asked why and she said "we will deduct your co-pay from it". Totally bunko policy. Charge me when I get the service. Also, invest in a receptionist who isn't rude, condescending, and uninformative. read more

I went there once and that was enough for me. like a guinea pig and writing for all different types of medicine that just made everything worse. read more

I treated with Patricia Odham for five months. I was lucky that when I came to her I was on Viibryd that seemed to be working but took a dive after about 3 months. As a long term drug it was showing that it was not going to work. She added lamictal. I took it for 2 weeks and upped it to 75 mg. As soon as the 75 mg hit I was waking up with severe crying. Felt worse than ever. I asked her for an earlier appointment. After telling her what the lamictal was doing to me she said to up the dose to 100 and lower Viibryd from 40 to 20. And told me to continue this dosage until she could see me in two weeks. I was terrified of my mental health and could not wait two weeks. I told her I would be seeking a new provider. That being said. A new provider that recognizes a patients emergency and is accessible during the times of need. As someone else mentioned. The practice is not run to cater to their patients. They do not answer the phones and they bill before submitting insurance. They currently owe me approximately $200 for over billing. read more

didn't have a mental health issue until the demonic lady who books appointments for Trinity Wellness Center called me to setup an appointment for my 82 year old mother with dementia. There's only two places in Wilmington for memory testing and one of them is booked up for six months and Trinity Wellness Center can see you in a couple weeks. I don't know, maybe they are good at their jobs because my mother couldn't emember anything, but she remembers overhearing my traumatic phone experience. If you don't love your relative, then I highly recommend Trinity Wellness Center. read more

L Morgan is THE BEST. However, the rest of their staff is awful. The women who schedule are demeaning, rude, and unorganized. The man they had do my bloodwork last year sexually harassed me and made some pretty disgusting comments. l Morgan is the only reason I put up w the rest of the staffs unprofessionalism. read more

Don't know what all the beef is about, guess some people are hard to please. Front desk folks were friendly and competent. Dr Smith said was very understanding and thoughtful. Emily was kind and compassionate on her testing. I would recommend to everyone. read more

Read these reviews! They are poor for a reason! "Our Rigorous Root-Cause Approach" - taken from their webpage - its a farce! Most un-empathetic staff I have ever dealt with. Numerous requests for help as it related to billing were left unanswered. Multiple times of being told I didn't have a balance, then to be told I couldn't see the provider until I paid the balance. What balance? As the previous person said I didn't have one. Just found out today they put on my file "do-not rebook". Leighton Morgan signed off on that do-not-rebook. This - after I shared with her all of the frustrations of dealing with the staff. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and when I tried to get help to understand and sort things out I was basically told it was all my fault as I didn't read my statements. Turns out reading them wouldn't have helped - they were billing and coding me incorrectly the whole time. Save yourself from this "Root-Cause Approach". Disgusting that they align themselves with "wellness". read more

Extremely dissatisfied with lack of timeliness of appointment/test results, discourteous and RUDE staff, undisclosed charges. Would NOT recommend! read more

Just be aware they require payment BEFORE being checked in for your appointment. I have issues with that since I've been to places before where they're so far behind you can't wait anymore and have to leave, so you end up paying for an appointment you doing even get. If you do have any issues at all with appointments or any staff, the front desk staff will also gaslight you and say you said things you didn't. I was told today that I "declined a telemed appointment" for today (which I did not and tried to work with the office manager to come to a solution about the payment before/after the appointment which we did, or at least that was what they led me to believe). After that I was told by the office manager that she was told if they "have any more problems out of me" to drop me as a patient so they were going to refer me out. The only thing I've ever had an "issue" with was the payment before the appointment. And I said fine and hung up and immediately called the insurance company. Stephanie, the office manager called back about 10 minutes later wanting my "consent" to refer me out since that was "what I requested". I never requested to be referred out. They said they no longer wanted to see me. If you have other options just go somewhere else where they don't gaslight their patients. read more

I wish I had read all the reviews about office staff being rude and unprofessional before I booked an appointment. Save yourself the money and further anxiety! Go somewhere else. Very cold reception! I had to wait 6 weeks for an intake appointment and was charged $70 for just to schedule. They incorrectly booked my appointment as virtual, even though I specifically requested an in-person visit and scolded me for being a few minutes late for the in- person visit that I apparently didn't even have!!! I sat and filled out 18 pages of documents and questionnaires and they re-booked me for later in the day. I left and then I received a call to say there was "confusion " and my appointment could not be in person, and would have to be virtual. I canceled the rescheduled virtual appointment after thinking about whether this was the way I wanted to begin treatment. This is definitely not the right fit for me. Empathy for the patient is not their priority. Mds and PAs at TWC...your office staff is incompetent and very rude. They are refusing to refund the $70 they stole from me just to book the appointment and now they have my cc on file. BUYER beware. Oh...and I took a day off of work for this. read more

This review is not about the doctor, it is about the CENTER, specifically the front office and the billing department. To give you the summary version, the center overcharged me by $800, has not filed a claim after two requests from the insurance company to do so, and to top it all off the amount they charged me is higher than the COST of service. You heard that right - the total cost of service was only in the $500-600 range, but they went ahead and collected the most they could based on my deductible, not on services rendered. Twice I have corrected my Subscriber ID with the front office, and twice they have continued to send the wrong Subscriber ID with the claim (if in fact, they are even sending the claim at all which seems dubious at this point.) Wilmington is a small town, and specialist providers are limited. You may NEED to go here for a specific provider (that was my case) but I urge you to look around, and if you must go here do not pay anything to the front office beyond their deposit...force everything through insurance and get an EOB first. read more

Trinity Wellness Center lost my respect when I could not make an appointment with Dr.Fredericksen due to my child being in the hospital with seizures. Simultaneously, I ran out of a medication I have been taking for several years due to high anxiety. I took this medicine prior to dealing with DR. FREDRICKSON AS PRESCRIBED BY MY REGULAR PHYSICIAN. It just so happens that withdrawals from this medicine are pretty serious with severe dizziness and vertigo like feelings are sure to occur. I called several times to ask Dr. FREDRICKSON to please send a presctiption and to reschedule my appt. She would not return my phone call nor would she release a prescription to a pharmacist. The pharmacist was concerned with my withdrawal symptoms as they were severe and disagreed with her irrationally in regards to the prescription denial. He gave me an emergency dose of this med to get me through the weekend. That Monday I called my regular physician and notified him of my experience with DR. FREDRICKSON. In disbelief, he prescribed me with the necessary prescription. This woman is obviously money hungry and not in her profession to keep her patients healthy and safe. THANKS DR FREDRICKSON AND TRINITY WELLNESS CENTER.... YOU EARNED 1 STAR OUT OF 5! :) read more

I have been seen by John Nielsen for over a year now and he's great. It took a little time to get in as a new patient but now that I've been going here regularly, I haven't had any issues.
