Cancelled both of my cataract surgeries before leaving Devil's Lake and closing the office. The doctor had plenty of time to do my surgeries before they closed. This is incredible. Horrible!! I call 20/20Trinity Eyecare to make an appt for my child. They refused to give me an appt as I did not have the insurance number right now. I said I would have to get it from the safety deposit box and bring in. They said they would not make an appt til they had the number. I said we were just at the clinic today and her insurance is valid. She kept repeating "policy". Again, I said we just used it today and will bring in when I get the number (from the safety deposit box where it is). She refused. Eventually hung up on me when I said "this is incredible you are refusing to give me an appt." **Mind you my child was referred by a medical doctor for an eye exam due to headaches. This is the second time in 3 months I have had poor care/response from the 20/20 Trinity Eyecare. The last call was related to scheduling my own appt. They are choosing to not be in network with state of ND vision insurance. I asked then if they would look into, etc. Devils Lake has a high number of persons covered by ND state employee vision insurance. Again, now I need to take my business to Grand Forks. Devils Lake business owners wonder why people go out of the region for care. This is why. read more
