We've been looking for a new church home and came here on the recommendation of one of our family…read moremembers. Upon walking in we were greeted with smiling faces. And I was in awe over the size and just everything going on in the lobby area. They have a coffee/tea bar where you can purchase specialty items and food but they also have water, coffee and tea available for free. They have a small store that sells gift shop type stuff and a safe checkin /out kid area where you can drop your youngsters while you attend service. For babies, they have a "cry room" that is available where you can sit with your baby and also be part of service while not being out in the general area. The room overlooks the general congregation area so that you can also take part in live worship. I love the feeling I get when I walk in and hear the beautiful voices singing about God. They have small groups available that you can sign up to be part of. Wednesday nights are teen nights. I believe they have a preschool and elementary school. The pastors family is highly involved in the church--sons are part of the band that plays for worship. The church is upbeat and appealing to all my senses. We've only been 2 weeks now but every visit the Word has spoken to me and I can feel that this is the place I want to continue to come and bring my family. If you can't make it onsite, they even have online streaming of the sessions.

What a beautiful community of Christian believers. I was looking for a smaller, bible based, church where I could truly feel a sense of belonging and I definitely found it here. The messages are well thought out and speak to me a way I never even knew was possible and the community I've been invited to be a part of is a constant blessing in my life. Florida started out feeling temporary but with my new church family, it will be difficult now to ever think of leaving. If you're looking for a new church, I highly encourage you to come check it out. And don't leave without connecting to someone wearing a purple shirt. He talks really fast it was hard to keep up and process what he was saying lol, thankfully I could rewind. It was like speed messaging. I found myself tuning out, he was talking so fast at one point. Clearly my ADHD is an issue here lol. Maybe he just talks so fast cause worship goes so long. He's gotta go so fast to end on time I don't know. Maybe it's just me. I'll watch again, looking for a new church. At the end of the day, his message was on point and exactly what I've been looking for. The church itself does amazing things in the community and, at least on the surface, appears to be living the Word.

The church calendar is filled with so many activities that you really need to plan for each week. I can imagine how busy must Fr. George and Fr. Krzysztoff be. I am so gratefull to both as well as the Deacon who kindly steps in to assist. The Lenten season has been filled with varieties of activities and prayers that help the parisioners to grow in holiness. It is a joy to be part of the St. Thomas Parish Family.
