The office was very nice and the woman at the desk told me the Dr would be out soon to see me. In walks an older gentleman named Mark. He took me to a room and immediately started completely disassembling my hearing aid. He took it to another room for a few minutes and had it all fixed. I am so thankful! Lori was very professional, friendly and has a sense of humor that put me at ease during my appointment. She listened to my concerns about my hearing problems, explained the test results and helped me select hearing aids that were covered by my insurance. I am happy with my selection, especially since I can adjust them via my cell phone, so helpful during meetings and noisy places. Lori is knowledgable on how to connect my new hearing aids to my cell phone (I am a tech Dummy). I had trouble with using them at home, it turned out my cell phone needed to be updated. While Lori updated my cell phone she explained the process so I could do it myself when needed. The provider I saw seemingly had no info on file for me, so it was like a blind appointment…read more I sent my referral docs myself as well as some medical history/records and my medical group also sent referrals and health records directly to the office but somehow none of it seemed to end up in my chart for the doctor to see. I also followed up twice with office staff prior to my appointment about the intake forms that I was told would get texted to me and both times they acted annoyed that I was asking; my second follow up a man on the phone laughed at me and said the text would be a few days ahead of the appointment but it never came. I even arrived early on purpose for my appointment and told office staff I never received the texted intake form and again they seemed annoyed. They confirmed my cell # and said they'd text them right then for me to fill out but then they had me sign just an arbitration form then almost immediately put me in a room early and I never got that text to fill out the intake forms and the provider came in early. The provider I'm sure did the best they could with zero information and health history for me, but honestly it was a wholly unproductive appointment and I 100% regret coming. I cried in my car after my appointment because I was so frustrated. I waited weeks for this appointment and missed work for this appointment and spent time preparing by sending and ordering records and it was all for nothing. My suggestion is bipass the office staff completely and go old school and bring hard copies of your referrals and any health history/medical records and make your own list of things like medications and hand them directly to your provider so they actually know info about you and why you are there.

Wendy, the audiologist, was incredible! She took the time and had the patience needed to guide my mother through several devices and adjustments until my mother (and I) were completely satisfied with our product. There are so many different models and choices to make it can be overwhelming for any one let alone an elderly hard of hearing person. Wendy made sure my mother received exactly what she needed and that her devices were a perfect fit and that my mother understood how to operate them. My mother was allowed to try out the hearing aids (for two weeks at a time) before selecting and purchasing. Wendy was calm, patient and competent. We definitely recommend Newport Hearing Aid Associates!

The power dropped and I could not hear while in my drs. Office as she tried to explain my tests. When I went back to wearing my older hearing aids Phonak and Brio No problem.i I purchased The Jabari and was told it was my fault. I asked for my $ back and told it was past time. They refused to call me back. They wasted the time so I m hoping to help others to NOT buy your hearing aids from Costco. Amazon is now selling them out online. I would not purchase online Costco customer service in the hearing aid dept has gone down. They don't care. As a senior I have purchased all my hearing aids from them.
