More concerning was the lack of attention to why we were actually there. We explained my daughter's symptoms and the reason for the visit at check-in, yet once we were seen, they seemed to have no idea why she was there or what we had already told them. That was a huge red flag for me and made it feel like no one was actually paying attention. After paying nearly $300, we were offered very little in terms of help or a solution. We were essentially told to go to another urgent care because they didn't have the test she needed. What made that especially frustrating is that a basic urgent care right down the street did have the test. We only chose this location because it was the only place open that late. If a facility is going to charge this much for an urgent care visit, I would expect better communication, better attention to the patient's symptoms, and at the very least a clearer understanding of what services they can actually provide before taking someone's money. Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurses and the anesthesiologist were super friendly and accommodating. The center was very organized and kept us in the loop of everything. Each patient is assigned a number and the progress is displayed on a tv monitor to let you know what's going on every step of the way. This was helpful considering I was nervous. When he reached the recovery troll we were allowed back to sit with him and the nurse never left his side and he was allowed time to wake up without feeling rushed even though there was a full house.
