I would have given Outreach of Love 5-Stars, however I cannot recommend the youth program (based on when we were there) if you have middle-school or high school students. To be honest I would have given the church 3-stars based upon the youth program. Just saw way too many overlooked issues. Not to mention... A youth pastor should never be contradicting or questioning the teaching of a students parents. One thing that stood out for me, was based upon the very first thing I learned when going into ministry. And that's to be careful of perceptions. Here you have the Senior Pastor... then the associate pastor being his daughter... Not to mention another daughter being the student pastor. There is a huge red flag that there is an extreme conflict of interest for how things are handled. Let's just leave it at that. In the end... Pastor Gary and Shannon are what carries this church. Therefore I have to give it an extra star because they are so great! As you read this I want to be clear that I can't write a review of this church based on untruthful accolades just because I love the Senior Pastors. I had to write it based on what my family experienced. In the end we left this church, not because of the Pastor Gary or Shannon (IN ANY WAY). Gary is probably the most UNDER-rated pastor I've ever met. Why some mega-church hasn't grabbed him I don't know. He is one of my top 3 pastors of all time. And I mean that! Pastor Gary and Shannon are the backbone of Outreach of Love... It will be a shame the day they decide to retire from ministry.

First of all, The church is made up with volunteers who use their gifts, the Lord blessed them with. They were very friendly, accepting and welcoming. I chose to attend the contemporary service. Iam so glad I did. The worship songs seemed to be the popular songs. Songs you might hear on Air1 radio, Wayfm, or Klty. The songs were definitely centered around Christ, Amen. The sound is so crisp and clear and the female worship leader had a great voice as well. I did not want to attend Bible Study because, those can be awkward. Lol. However,The Lord had another plan for me. I was walking down the hallway and received an invite to attend a Bible study for Singles and Married Couples so, I walked in with the person that invited me. It was a really good experience. It was a classroom setting. We began with prayer requests, updates and praise reports. Then discussed John 15:18 NLT. If the world hates you, remember they hated me first. In other words, God is preparing us for the challenges we will face because we love and serve him.This class taught me a few things. Some times bad things happen but, we know how to handle it in the future. It's important that we prepare for what's coming. In life there are no easy answers but, right answers. God is the TRUTH the light and the way. John 14:6 News Flash: Do you make Jesus fit where you think he should be? Are you living a life in such a way people know Jesus? Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. We have the freedom to do what we want and not do. We have to determine how we are going to live for Christ. God will provide away out. A way out of hell. That's accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Have you made him your Savior? Maybe you, were on here looking for the next best restaurant, a winery nearby or a house keeping service. However, I believe God wants you to commit to him. If you have not given your life to him. Please, invite him into your life by saying, I repent of my sins, come into my heart and I make you my Lord and Savior. If you missed church today, you definitely got your dose here. Lol. If your ever on the Burleson area you should check this church out. You will love the hospital it's, worship, music and Bible study. I highly recommend it.

Someone told us the Music director was a volunteer until they had a new person in place, but he did a great job. They should keep him! The young man preaching was not the regular lead pastor but we really enjoyed the message/sermon. I think they said he taught an adult class at the church and had grown up at that church. We were invited to stay for a class but did not stay. I am sure we will be back again after we visit a couple of other area churches with traditional services.

The building is gorgeous, and the sanctuary doesn't even need much in the way of decorations. The musician was wonderful (a live organ player!), our coordinator, Carol, was so sweet, and Norma was so helpful in setting up our event. But I have to highly commend Tom Plumbley, in particular. Tom took the time to get to know my husband and I, and our guests were so impressed with how he spoke to us during the ceremony, like he had known us for years. My husband and I were both a little nervous about standing up in front of all of our guests, and Tom made the process easy. He perfectly outlined how a Christian marriage works and was very supportive of us as a couple. We had 120 guests show up, but he managed to make the ceremony feel very intimate. I wish I could relive those twenty minutes over and over again because it was the best twenty minutes of my life, and my husband and I both thank Tom for putting everything together for us. His professionalism, non-judgmental demeanor, and sense of calm helped make our ceremony absolutely perfect.

I laugh because technology has caught up with the Catholicism the oldest religion on earth. They also have Adoration of 7am to 9pm. You do have to have a code to get in. The nuns there are so sweet and they will talk to you. A lady named Michelle on staff and Raquel there is so nice as well. Just a good group of people. They know how to run a church. It's further for me to drive. But I like a church where the clergy will talk to you. They truly care.

I've been going to Catholic Church for over 55 years and have NEVER heard of such judgement rhetoric! I won't be going back and I hope you won't support this Church as long as he is there. Yup, you guessed it, I went to do a drive by but, it didn't turn out to be just a drive by, it turned out to be a yelp review! Hey, you know, how I do It! There were many parking spaces available but, the pavement is pretty old. You can park right next to the building or further away. There's a nice little path to walk up too and there's always someone there to open the door for you. They have a few greeters as soon as you walk in and before you enter the worship center. The church has a great breakfast bar. They have coffee, hot chocolate, donuts and bite sized cinnamon roles. They also have tables and chairs to sit down and eat your breakfast and get to know others who attend the church. They also, have cute decorations through out the church. The worship center was small and intimate. The carpet was new and so were the chairs.They also have good stage lighting. Worship band was good and performed Christian songs such as, Glorious Day, What a Beautiful Name, Holy Spirit and Cornerstone. The sermon was great. Jason M. preached on The Four principles of God's Kingdom. He was able to highlight The main points and is totally aware about his timing. The pastor has a great sense of humor, is very humble, relatable and a great story teller! His wife was also ready to take the stage and preach to the woman! She was very well spoken! So, if you are ever on the Westside? You should definitely try Lights Church. The hospitality, worship music and the good preaching are just a few perks of the Church! So, see you Sunday?
