Daughter is 26, we ended up going to the 11 service (traditional). It was a whole symphony orchestra for worship. Not what we had in mind but we stayed and the message was amazing. Pastor Cody was good. My daughter has since returned and attended the 9 service (contemporary) and I think she's found her new church! Her and I both agree, worship sets the table for the meal! I'm excited to visit again this weekend with her and my son.

The concert was very entertaining and kept getting better as the night went by. An incredible modern day performance was given by a grandfather and granddaughter. The grandfather would remember music from his time and would get into costume to try to explain the music to his granddaughter but, she wasn't having it! So, he used Alexa to play the music he was referring too. That s when the orchestra played live songs from movies like,Superman,James Bond, The Incredibles and so much more. A brief movie clip was played while they performed! There was even music from The Greatest Showman! MY favorite movie. They received a standing O! While there were lots of people there. I was able to find parking quickly. A program directory was given by a Sr Citizen who looked me up and down while handing me a brochure. Awkward. There were a few seats available but, it was hard to see over people's head. So thankful to CCBC for allowing me to witness such an awesome performance! Glory to God in the to highest for all who created these beautiful pieces of music. A master piece here in my home town of Fort Worth, Texas! I encourage you to visit the church to experience up and coming events!

This church has really put so much thought into little details everywhere to take care of people. From the variety of donuts on Sunday morning to a fully stocked array of feminine products provided for free in the restrooms, they have really put thought into making you feel welcome. The preaching is incredible and very well-based in the Bible. Greenwood really challenges a lot of the manipulation or other spiritual abuse often felt in other churches. There will always be some small disagreements on doctrines in the church, but the pastor is really good at being gracious in these area.

Most other churches don't take the time to truly listen and understand. They simply say, "No!" without fully understanding what they're saying "No" to. From the first interaction, to the in-process work on the project, to finishing touches, the pastors and congregation have been so loving and kind. Today I worked one wall of their columbarium, logging the many memorials on to the Find A Grave website. With a low battery in play, I needed to save the other wall for tomorrow morning. I look forward to heading back over there and will miss these kind folks once I'm done. Please check out this church.

The building is gorgeous, and the sanctuary doesn't even need much in the way of decorations. The musician was wonderful (a live organ player!), our coordinator, Carol, was so sweet, and Norma was so helpful in setting up our event. But I have to highly commend Tom Plumbley, in particular. Tom took the time to get to know my husband and I, and our guests were so impressed with how he spoke to us during the ceremony, like he had known us for years. My husband and I were both a little nervous about standing up in front of all of our guests, and Tom made the process easy. He perfectly outlined how a Christian marriage works and was very supportive of us as a couple. We had 120 guests show up, but he managed to make the ceremony feel very intimate. I wish I could relive those twenty minutes over and over again because it was the best twenty minutes of my life, and my husband and I both thank Tom for putting everything together for us. His professionalism, non-judgmental demeanor, and sense of calm helped make our ceremony absolutely perfect.

Adults learn in various ways and he educates verbally, visually, and even with the sermon handout. I was a member of his church for nearly ten years and always walked away with more knowledge and a faith strengthened by logic and facts. He is not a touchy-feely kind of fellow and I have always appreciated that he is direct and to the point. Also, his wife Debbie has the voice of an Angel and his daughter Courtney has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. The congregation here seems to be mostly older folks, but I encourage younger folks and families to attend. This church is where you belong if you want to know more about the Bible and grow in your faith. It's also a welcoming place for seekers. This is such a friendly congregation...join them and tell them that the Brown Family sent you!

Our family has been part of this parish for a while now, and it's honestly one of the most vibrant,…read morefaith-filled Catholic communities we've experienced. The parish is growing, thriving, and full of young families who are genuinely trying to live out their faith. This is reflected in the packed pews, the gaggle of children everywhere, and the real sense that people are invested in building a strong Catholic community together. Most everyone here is incredibly welcoming. New families are greeted warmly, kids are included, and there's a strong sense that the parish belongs to everyone--from newborns to grandparents. Like any large parish, there are occasional moments where someone might be bothered by the developmentally appropriate noise or movement that naturally comes with lots of small children. In fact, this past weekend there was an older woman who seemed visibly offended by the mere existence of the littlest parishioners at Mass and even refused to let a father back into the pew during the Our Father after he had briefly stepped out with his child. She actually was so annoyed she stormed out in the middle of Mass. Thankfully, moments like that are the exception and not the norm, and they certainly don't reflect the spirit of the parish as a whole. One of the reasons the parish is flourishing is the incredible work being done in faith formation. Our Director of Religious Education, Lauren Walsh, does an absolutely remarkable job. She essentially manages religious education and youth ministry for hundreds of children, coordinating programs, volunteers, and events that help young people grow in their faith. The amount of dedication and organization required for that is enormous, and the results speak for themselves. Fr. Keating also deserves a lot of credit. His homilies are thoughtful, challenging, and rooted in authentic Catholic teaching. He doesn't just offer feel-good reflections--he encourages the faithful to actually know their faith, think about it, and live it out in daily life. Deacon Steve and Deacon Wilfried are also wonderful - they are such a great resource and support for our community. With the growth of the parish came new office staff as well - Leigh and Anna keep us all in the loop and the parish logistics running smoothly. Patricia is one of the OG office ladies and we definitely could not do it without her! If you're looking for a lively parish filled with families, kids, and people who are actively practicing their faith, you'll likely feel right at home here. But if you prefer a morgue-type silence or quiet retirement-home atmosphere where children are rarely seen or heard... this probably isn't the parish for you.

Anyways, I attended this Church for the 1st time two weeks ago. HOLY COW! I walked in this building and on the very first worship song I felt the Holy Spirit in this place so strongly that I began to weep uncontrollably. Then the Associate Pastor ( I think ) got up there and delivered the perfect end of the year message. I couldn't wait to go back and see if this was a one off or really real. So I attended the very next Sunday and it was equally as good as the Sunday before. The worship was once again amazing then the Lead Pastor, once again got up there delivered the perfect message on stating the year off right. 3:20 my friend.
