Pastor Gary does a great job on the pulpit. And his wife Shannon has a God-Given talent for singing. I would have given Outreach of Love 5-Stars, however I cannot recommend the youth program (based on when we were there) if you have middle-school or high school students. To be honest I would have given the church 3-stars based upon the youth program. Just saw way too many overlooked issues. Not to mention... A youth pastor should never be contradicting or questioning the teaching of a students parents. One thing that stood out for me, was based upon the very first thing I learned when going into ministry. And that's to be careful of perceptions. Here you have the Senior Pastor... then the associate pastor being his daughter... Not to mention another daughter being the student pastor. There is a huge red flag that there is an extreme conflict of interest for how things are handled. Let's just leave it at that. In the end... Pastor Gary and Shannon are what carries this church. Therefore I have to give it an extra star because they are so great! As you read this I want to be clear that I can't write a review of this church based on untruthful accolades just because I love the Senior Pastors. I had to write it based on what my family experienced. In the end we left this church, not because of the Pastor Gary or Shannon (IN ANY WAY). Gary is probably the most UNDER-rated pastor I've ever met. Why some mega-church hasn't grabbed him I don't know. He is one of my top 3 pastors of all time. And I mean that! This church is great! Pastor Veazey does an outstanding job in the pulpit. He has such a passion for leading the church and follows the leading of the Holy sprit. It is evident by his speaking and actions that he truly cares about every individual in the church and the community. His wife Shannon is the worship pastor and she has such an anointing to lead worship, her voice is so beautiful and captivating. The people there are so friendly and welcoming, you fill like a part of the church even if it's your first time there. They are real big into small groups and have what's called "eGroups" where you can get connected and fellowship with other believers. Each group is different and they have a huge variety of them to choose from. The youth program is awesome! They have Pastors and leaders that truly care about the students. The Wednesday night service for middle school and high school students is called "Shaken" and it's from Acts 4:31 "After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.". In today's world the students are so vulnerable with the technology and media that is constantly surrounding them to be pulled into the ways of this world. With this youth program they understand that vulnerability the students face everyday and that's why the pastors and leaders want to be involved with the students more than just one night a week, so they are always planning activities and events to constantly mentor and pour into the students lives so that they will have a firm foundation and know what it is to be a true follower of Jesus Christ. read more

Pastor Gary and Shannon welcomed my family with open arms, and we are people with issues that follow us around and that never put Pastor Gary and Shannon off, in fact the opposite, they surrounded my family with love and welcome. Their love for people is the true heart of God himself... that none maybe lost. I come from Pastors household and upbringing my wife is missionary we function in 5 gifts of the spirit, been involved in many church plants, youth pastoring, marriage counselling etc.. I give the Pastor team here 5 stars, what an example and family, to have your family in your ministry and know how to function in Jesus as a family is a testament to Dad and Mom and upbringing of their children in difficult times that our children face today. If you ever needed a testament to the care and love of people look no further than the example Pastor Gary and Shannon have set within their own family. You are in safe hands here, no matter your issues or no issues, you will find open heart, love and welcome from all the team. Since we moved here approx. year ago, we have been searching for a family of people and relationships in church setting that we can call home. We have attended 6 or 7 churches in that time in the local and FW area, non came close to the biblical and Gods spiritual understandings, teachings, and love towards and the out look to other people and community. These are true Pastors of the sheep, to guide, teach, direct, and discipleship if you want that or not. Lots of great families here too and singles and teens and mothers with babies. We have been around the world in many churches, most Pastors have failed their sheep for many reasons (to big for a review page) and do not function in gifts of the spirit, or in true direction and honesty of the word and discipleship which in most cases is zero, Am I am expert, no, but I know this, if you want family love and Jesus, and increase in your spirit and soul prosperity, then you wont find a better church of people or Pastors in this and FW area. If you feel a family who functions together in ministry is a threat to you, then you have never understood the body of Christ and what it is to be family. We all know we are to be priests in our own home and that's where it all starts. We have been here at ORLC for few months or so, it is home, we are very new, and it is family of people. 5 stars.
