They have a kids program, they go from infant all the way up to 6th grade. They have summer activites from staycations for the kids to parenting and marriage sessions. My kiddo is actually excited about going to church and that makes me happy as a mom. They have a coffee bar to grab a cup of caffine before or after church. The campus is clean and beautiful. Father Erik is exceptional in his role as pastor and has his license in Canon Law. His knowledge really comes to life in his homilies, and he is gifted in his ability to provide an in-depth yet applicable message, all within a reasonable timeframe. In coordination with the church, Father Erik traveled to San Diego to preside over my husband and I's wedding (at a Catholic Church) and was so lovely to interact with throughout the whole process. The pastor was grounded in Scripture, the worship was Spirit-led and the ushers were helpful and kind. I've been checking churches in the area but it's tough given that most of the churches with young (20s and 30s) people fall into the Korean American group and, although I have like 4 or 5 Korean friends, it's definitely a more homogeneous, closely-knit and insular group to try and fit into than any other out there (Asian or otherwise). That's on me, though. I came due to a friend's suggestion (he's KorAm), but at the last minute, he flaked on me, and I ended up at a mostly KorAm church by myself, lol. Highly recommended church if you're Asian or Asian American, in college or are post college and still relatively young (20s, 30s), as I think this church specifically caters to that community.
