An interesting Anglican church in Buxton. I think I'm right in saying that it's a very unusual Anglican church in that it doesn't have a parish (like virtually every other Anglican church in the country) -- it just sort of exists by itself. The church is particularly well-decorated and well-equipped with smart rooms which support a large range of mid-week community activities. It's an unashamedly evangelical church with a strong emphasis on the Bible. It tends to be quite busy on a Sunday morning but that means there are always people around to talk to. All in all, a friendly church with an unusual background -- definitely worth a visit. read more
