We've been living in Trilogy La Quinta and honestly love it. It's a great community and has only gotten better over the past year. Since the homeowners took over the golf course and the restaurant, there's been a noticeable improvement -- everything feels more cared for and more community-driven. There's a lot to do here if you like staying active. Golf, fitness classes, pools, walking paths, clubs -- you can be as busy or as laid-back as you want. It's easy to meet people, and neighbors are genuinely friendly and welcoming. It really feels like people look out for each other. The HOA has been responsive and helpful, which makes a big difference. Issues get addressed, and communication has been solid. Overall, it's just an easy, enjoyable place to live with great neighbors and a strong sense of community. We're really happy here. read more

We have lived in Trilogy for over 5 years and absolutely love it. Such a vibrant, active community with caring neighbors. No place is perfect, and Trilogy has had some issues with past ownership/bankruptcy of its golf course and restaurant, but now the HOA has purchased both, things are looking great for a first class community with a gorgeous GC and a brand new restaurant coming....stay tuned for photos. read more

Sandi I just want to clarify some of the comments you made concerning our community. Our Golf Course has been in bankruptcy for approximately a year and now we finally took control of our community by buying the Golf Course and restaurants. I just want you to know that the homeowners just voted overwhelmingly to buy the GC and restaurant. We have 1238 homes and 1011 homeowners voted yes on the purchase of the golf course. Therefore many of the people that are non golfers that you talk about voted yes to the purchase and are willing to be assessed 12,000 so we can own the GC. This community has come together with the realization that we want to protect our property values and our life style. The vote was a mandate! All your assertions are incorrect. read more

Great place to live. 24 hour guard gate. They have a gym, huge pool indoors, and outdoors with a spa. Indoor track with AC. Beauty spa. A restaurant and paths for walking. At the golf course driving range, there are 2 restaurants as well as a quick market. You never need to leave. read more

I recently sold my property in Trilogy LQ and feel compelled to share my experience for potential residents. While the surrounding area for TLQ is beautiful, there are significant ongoing issues inside the walls. 1. One of the most disheartening aspects of my time there was the blatant discrimination based on sexual orientation. They fired an entertainer for "possibly being gay " and then when they were reprimanded by the ACLU, they doubled down and hired a PR company at a huge cost to the homeowners. This company then used guerilla and whisper tactics to intimidate homeowners. These tactics were obvious during the aftermath of the firing and then used to force a purchase by homeowners of the adjacent golf course. 2. The biggest problem the ACLU saw was the lack of transparency the BOD has. In the 3 years I was there, the BOD spent substantial amounts of money without proper consultation with homeowners. This lack of transparency is troubling and raises questions about the responsible management of community funds. 3. I observed instances where certain HOA Board members abused their power, negatively impacting the well-being of homeowners. I was booed by HOA BOD members at an HOA meeting when I highlighted the discrimination. Certain BOD members sat in the front row at another meeting and screamed over and over during the meeting to disrupt it. It was an informative meeting on possible options to buying the golf course and they did NOT want that. I know of 2 extremely nasty and threatening anonymous letters sent to homeowners and I believe they were the work of this BOD. The abuse of authority created their by the HOA BOD became an unhealthy living environment and eroded the trust that should exist between residents and the governing body. I believe it's now filled with vipers who will (and have been) spending the homeowners money like spendthrifts. read more

The community is run by a board of directors that are only interested in keeping their "life golf memberships" and could care less about the rest of the community. The golf course went into bankruptcy in 2018 and has not recovered. The board of directors keep throwing money at the situation to no avail. These are people that don't know the first thing about how to run a golf club...membership needs, financial requirements, dues that are needed to sustain the running and maintaining of the organizational requirements to make the investment a financial success. When the course and restaurant went into bankruptcy, the monies to maintain the grounds of the community itself weren't reflected in the appearance of the community...the appearance of the common area landscaping continued to deteriorate. From 2018 to 2023, the community landscaping went from immaculate to deteriorated. The HOA dues kept rising but the common area landscaping continued to deteriorate. Approximately one third of the community residents are everyday golf course users, however, the other two thirds have to support the other third...so out of the 1,238 residences in the community, about one third of them would use the golf course daily which would not be enough to bring the revenue required to keep the golf course financially healthy and the one third have life memberships which means that they pay lower rates for golf course play and that is exactly why they have tried to keep the golf course. The course is not in a prime location to even attract outside play if the community did purchase the course themselves. In at least 4 years, they couldn't get an outside buyer to make an offer through the bankruptcy court. In the community, it is the blind leading the blind. read more

The dues continue increase because of horrible management and boards who want to protect their investments and lack of insight on how to manage litigation. The community could be ok, it is aging. We have no restaurant a snack bar at best, they closed it spent hundreds of thousands allegedly remodeling it only to leave us with more limited menu. The spa the one amenity I am able to use since my hip surgery. They can not find any employees for nails when I asked the manager why then since October you can not find employees just delete the page on the spa menu or maybe you offer them more money. When I did have the massage I asked why my eye mask was a dinner napkin and the poor employee said we can not afford because of the golf course. What is so sad I am trying to book a weekly massage because it was great, but the employee who mans the front desk, reception and the locker is so unhappy and the spa is basically run down I just wonder. But this is place where buyer beware. There is no end plan for the litigation except until our lawyers think they have made enough off us. The rise in homes prices is due to inflation not good management we got rid of one manager and now have an invisible one. People call me angry yes I am I paying for the past mistakes which were never told me when I bought here. I guess this is all my fault, but please be beware. read more

Things at Trilogy have rapidly deteriorated. The management company is worthless, uncaring and unresponsive. The Board of Directors have ongoing resignations and the landscape/gardening company does not have enough help to keep the community up to resident's expectations. This review is only for the General Manager of the HOA, Eric Angle. The community itself is wonderful. The people in Trilogy are great. The grounds are maintained nicely and the golf course on site is a great place to play. Back to the GM...he is very rude and unfriendly. He shows NO respect to homeowners. I have no idea why he is still there! He bows to the HOA board members and is afraid to open his mouth. read more

My in laws live here. It's an over 55 active community and they seem to love it. Wish the spa was a bit more available. You can never pop in for a treatment. read more

This is the best 55 and over community in The Valley. It is like living in a resort. Many amenities and low HOA fees. So many activities provided. You can be as active as you want. The beautiful landscape make this community a wonderful place to live. There is a real sense of community where residents can make lasting friendships read more

We had an amazing lunch at Trilogy today. Our waiter was Arty and he was great. He gave us entre suggestions and the three of us were very very happy. I had the Ricky Ricardo which is a Cuban sandwich but the BEST Cuban ever! We are coming back for dinner! Arty also recommended the breakfast and I'm sure he is right! read more

Excellent food, big variety on the menu, great service and nice atmosphere. AND live music every night! Every time I eat here I'm impressed. They have a fantastic steak breakfast burrito, a great wedge salad, great breakfast/egg dishes in general, and do an amazing job with steaks. You won't be disappointed. read more

My husband and I recently left this community. When we first moved to the area, our car bumper was just several inches off of our driveway and onto the sidewalk. We received a citation, with not just a picture of the vehicle, a standard letter, and then the citation. All of this for a small infraction. They have started construction on various upgrades as well as the landscape, which we were told should have been done months ago. Aside from a friendly wait staff at Bistro 60, the people in the community are so rude. It was almost comical how people looked the other way on our walks to avoid any acknowledgment our pleasantries. We couldn't get out of this community fast enough. We have since moved to Arizona where the people are friendly and everyone employed by this community is so welcoming. M.V. read more
