I know Crystal is the best because I had worked for a water testing company. Despite being on a veterans disability pension, I believed this was worth the price. IT WAS MUCH MORE THAN THAT. I never thought to ask if they had bottom loading, because had only seen those in offices so I asked for a top loading with hot water. Further, I use a gas stove, 90% of my usage is boiling water for tea or my French coffee press, so if I'm exhausted I have to go without. When I had to try and lift a five gal bottle, I couldn't even lift it three inches so I called my Crystal tech Greg, he said normally if you get a machine, that's it; however he said he would do What he could and talk to the boss. Wonderfully, they made an exception for my medical issues. This has changed my life for the better. I no longer have to fill 3, 3g jugs and carry, or use a hand pump. I can have coffee and tea on a moment's notice. I now I have my chamomile every night. I haven't had to fill my gas for five months, still have some, before it was 24.00 every two months. I love this company, my delivery tech Greg, I loved the water, convenience and ease of use. With so many greedy, UNETHICAL companies out there, I was happily surprised with the professional, compassionate staff, the quality of both water and machine and the awesome ethics and integrity this company has. Calling customer service is fine too, but I do it online to avoid the wait. Hurricane season is quickly approaching and I am grateful I don't have to worry about running out to get water. One less thing to worry about works for me, because I have enough things on my plate. I love that they send you delivery reminders by text, that way if you need to make a change there is still time to do so. Billing is up to you; they can keep your card on file or send you an invoice. I like that they run my card after the delivery has been made. Tips are optional and can be made in person or online. I recommend Ready Refresh if you are looking for a delivery service. In a year, they have been on time with delivery just TWO TIMES. All the other deliveries are late - not just a day or two, but a WEEK or TWO LATE. Of course, when it was installed, I was not told that the filter prices would become prohibitively expensive and it's hard to fathom why in just two years they have. I just had a service call because it was time for replacement as water was looking cloudy. The cost of replacing all necessary filters was close to $1k!!! My jaw dropped. This did not include the cost of replacing the carbon in the filter that covers the rest of the water in the house. I am extremely disappointed by this absolutely outrageous increase in pricing. It would be more economical for me to buy cases of water and drink and bathe in bottled water. I do not understand how anyone is purchasing and maintaining these systems or, frankly, why anyone would purchase one of these systems from Culligan going forward.
