Wrong. Wanna know why? MOLD. How lazy do you have to be to not properly provide food that won't get your customers sick? There's like 3 kids around the store chatting with each other or all up together at the register instead of helping with the customers. The meat guy doing the cleaning is a great guy, and he's always there to help me out when there's something in the ad I can't find, and he even helped my wife a few times in getting her what she wanted without a fuss, and she's known for having issues with a few employees there, but I guess it's because he's the only one who treats her right. I forgot the guy's name, but he's always got the black cap and wears the round glasses. You'll know who I'm talking about when you see him.

My personal favorite is their beef jerkies, mild and hot were our top picks, but yesterday I found they had a new 0.10 pound small packs of soy sauce beef jerky and it knocked my socks off!! It's $2.85/pack, bold and flavorful, reminds me something homemade from childhood.... Another "unique and awesome" thing they carry is cheesecake chocolate from Lindt! I don't know where else anyone carries it, although it is Lindt! It's only $1.29 per stick and make sure you get it. They also have great salt baked peanuts and side by side it is their raw peanuts. If you live around here, it is most probably you know and love this place. If you are here for the summer, make sure you visit them and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Talk about an old fashioned hand pattied burger. YUM! The candy selections were straight from my childhood. I loved the walk down memory lane and bought some for my niece and nephew. It's also a store with options of soap, retro toys, unique items and jars of delicious foods. I live right down the highway and have passed this place too many times. I'm mad I just found out about it. 10/10 recommend!

They also had maps of the area showing which local farms had products to sell along with a list on what each offered. When I inquired if there were any farms where I could get fresh baked bread, the lady working that day added a few additional places onto the map of where I could find this. So glad she did! Her recommendation led me to some of the fluffiest, lightest, warm out of the oven bread that I have ever had. Great little store. I visited twice in the couple of weeks I was in the area. Highly recommend stopping in.
