The dmv asked for it to be filled out electronically and Grace said that it would take longer, so she need a fax number. I saw a picture of the form and it wouldn't take long to fill out. I just wanted to get this over with and it didn't happen. I guess ill drive around with out no insurance.

In general, this review is for the parent company and not the actual people at any of the Liberty…read moreMutual offices. Being a 20 year loyal customer means nothing with them. Your rates will go up and they will insist that it is the state's new laws regarding underwriting which is making the rates climb yearly. My rates with them began a climb in 2009 and really got out of hand in 2014. It was at that time I called them to find out what was going on. My driving record was clean with only one speeding ticket which got dismissed as improper equipment. When I called about my rates they gave me some innocuous answer that the state of NC was changing the underwriting laws and that there was nothing they could do. This is a total load of turkeys as I found out recently when switching carriers. They also told me that I had "excessive claims". Claims for what I asked? Turns out each time I used the Liberty Mutual roadside assistance it was deemed a claim and therefore weighted against me! At the time they told me I had too many claims. So, because I was broke down on the side of a busy interstate and I called for a tow truck they used that against me. Just literally insane how they could treat a customer like that..after all, our premiums keep them in business. I had a mulit-car, motorcycle and homeowners policies with LM and on all counts they were ripping me off rate wise. I was paying close to 50% more per policy then my current carrier, Allstate. My new policies are now 50% less each. When I called to cancel with LM, they asked me not to leave for being such a long-standing customer and asked me to give them a chance to work a new quote on my policies. I gave them the courtesy and they could not come near anything I am being offered with Allstate. Not even close. The "senior account specialist" at LM had the nerve to tell me that LM is providing me the best rate available! I just laughed at her. I told her directly that apparently they couldn't be the best rate available since the rates I pay through another company are 50% better. Silence was all I got in return from her. Again, I ponder, what does twenty years loyalty buy you these days? A big fact nothing with Liberty Mutual. If you want higher premiums and a company that doesn't give one concern about you - then LM is the company for you. Personally, do your homework and take your business some place else. I'll avoid Liberty Mutual from now until eternity.
