I had such a good morning at the club, worked my shoulder, stumbled into the Pilates reformer area where a really kind trainer got me excited enough to sign up for sessions and her weekly class, then swam about 500 yards. Everything was going perfectly. Then came the locker room. It was quiet, almost empty. I came out of the shower, headed to my locker, and this fully dressed woman was standing there. She said good morning, I said it back. But then she sat down right next to me while I was naked, turned her back, and pulled out her phone. The whole locker room was open, and she picked that spot. I felt exposed and uncomfortable. Once I got dressed, I told her that phones aren't allowed in the locker room. Instead of apologizing, she turned it on me, saying I was "threatened" by her just scheduling her classes. I told her plainly: I felt unsafe because she sat right next to me with her phone out while I was undressed. She doubled down, kept making snide comments, then followed me out of the locker room mocking me with "have a nice day." That's when I lost it and told her to go fuck herself, that no one should be pulling out a phone next to a naked person in a locker room. At the front desk, they brushed me off, said the GM would call me. Two days later she finally did, and her cold, terse, completely unempathetic tone made everything worse. She told me the woman had every right to have her phone in the locker room - that their rules only included the use of recording devices in the locker room. Then she actually suggested that if I didn't want to risk being filmed, I should use the private changing area by the pool. That floored me. I told her they were risking a potential lawsuit by not enforcing stricter rules. She just said, "Yes, we sure are," in a way that made it clear she didn't care about my opinion at all. Then she asked, "Do you want anything else?" I said, yes, I want your bosses to call me. Ridiculous. Frustrating. And I think that "they" didn't enjoy interacting with me. So I'll keep coming. And I will keep complaining until they commit to a safer space for everyone.

Started applying and the whole 10 minutes I was there the person was on the phone the whole time. Once I completed the application . I thanked the person behind the counter and all I got was "see you soon" . I guess I was expecting a "do you have any questions, would you like a tour", nope just back to their phone call. Today was the first time with the equipment and to my surprise, no information on how to get the exercise equipment started. I had to ask another gentleman how to start to get the display to start up. I saw one person filling cleaner bottles and the other was behind the counter. Again I guess I figured someone would be available to answer questions. Years ago when my wife joined she had to be on site to join, was given a tour and brief explanation on equipment operation. At least today I was greeted with a smile and have a good day when I left. Right now I'll give it a 1 as far as my experience

No one gave us the date of when the new business would be opening. Several people asked at the front desk and were told Wednesday, 27 August. Today, friends and I were walking near the new business and were told by someone outside the building that it's going to be at the end of the week. We were never given a specific date or a specific time by this person. Why did we not receive an email with this specific information? Aren't we as patrons of planet fitness entitled to be told? I sincerely hope the new place works out. If not, I will not be surprised. They keep all the information to themselves and never let anyone else know.

I came in for boot camps, which is excellent, run efficiently, diverse training for cardio and strength, and open gym hours. Open gym is important as a female lifter working on the best equipment to help me succeed in fitness.

I had always believed I had little-to-no physical prowess. Words like, "weakling," "delicate," and…read more"lazy" all come to mind. In the past, group exercise classes like yoga and bodypump held my interest briefly, but that interest would wane within a month. I joined Top Line at the urging of a friend, and within two weeks my attitudes toward myself and my abilities changed dramatically. This isn't a fancy gym. There is no upscale locker room, no juice bar, no supplements station, no tanning beds. It's a former warehouse with hardcore equipment, and it's given me the greatest workout of my life. More than that, it's given me greater physical strength than I've ever possessed, and results I still can't believe. I started out with two sessions a week, quickly upped that to three, and then added a strength program soon after. It turns out that there is nothing more addictive than results. Within a month of joining, I started seeing muscle definition. Soon after, my clothing sizes began to drop (I went from a snug ladies' 12 to a loose 6 within a few months). I was sleeping better, had more energy, and people around me started to notice how different I looked. Top Line changed me physically, but it also changed my attitudes and habits. Through meal planning and guidance, my diet has become dramatically healthier. I have become "that girl" who encourages her friends to exercise, who helps others with food choices, and who can recommend a great protein shake... things that still surprise me. While the equipment and programming is top-of-the-line, the real Top Line experience comes from the people. This is a gym where the coaches and your fellow gym-goers work as a team. Everyone encourages and assists. I never feel afraid that I'm doing something incorrectly, or that I'm going to hurt myself, because there is always someone there to assist and guide. It's something I'd never experienced in a gym before, and it's definitely on the list of top ten things that keep me coming back. Top Line isn't just physique-changing. It's life-changing. Get in here!

The gym itself is spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you could want from top-tier cardio machines to an impressive range of weights and strength training equipment. It made staying on track with our workouts effortless. But what truly made the experience memorable was Nick. He's a standout professional, and we can't thank him enough. Well, it's new to me, anyway…read more Anytime Fitness was recommended to me (along with some other places) after I graduated from cardiac rehabilitation as a way to continue my cardiac exercise program. I happened to receive a 30 day trial membership about that same time, and gave it a try. I found the facility to be large and well equipped and there is a large training room. (Classes are offered for members, too.) The club has a large locker room with individual shower stalls. Although they don't have my particular favorite piece of exercise equipment, they do have a myriad of stair steppers, recumbent bikes, treadmills and other exercise gear. I have no idea what some of them are, let alone, how to use them but there is a staff of knowledgeable trainers to show you how they work and aid you in choosing your best exercise program. There is also a large array of weight lifting machines and free weights for any style and weight range. You'll find a selection of medicine balls, mats, and other floor exercise aids. There's even a sun tanning bed although there are two chances of me ever using it...and Slim is on a diet. The facility is clean and the equipment is maintained. If there's anything you need, ask the manager. Shauna is there to help you. You membership allows you access to the facility any time (nod, nod, wink, wink) 24/7 and no matter what time you're here, you're probably not alone. Although not monitored in the wee hours, there are many ways to contact first responders in an emergency. Your membership also allows you access to any of the Anytime Fitness centers you might find when you travel. To top it all off, they participate in the Silver Sneakers program. If you don't know what Silver Sneakers is, you're probably too young to qualify for it anyway. You'll find an interesting mix of users of all ages, shapes and sizes. (Silver Sneakers sealed the deal for me.) I use the facility two to four times a week and I believe it is a safe and comfortable environment for anyone. See you there!
