They low-balled me for my gold coins in mint condition still in protective sleeves by hundreds per coin, and silver coin markdowns like 5 dollars per coin lower than the daily valuation. I drove 8 miles to coin cradle instead, for the same coins got over $300 more in resale value. Much better rates there. Worth a drive across town for the better rates and not feeling like the workers are trying to rip me off for silver and gold coins. read more

I am so grateful for the help these guys did for me and my husband. My mom died at 92 yrs old a couple of years ago and she collected coins and jewelry. I got myself in the situation where there is more "month" than money. Whoops I did it again. I usually go to Ace Pawn near downtown Kennewick. I became good friends with Randy the owner, hence I was satisfied. I never asked for much $$, because less loan to me means it'll be a whole lot easier to repay them. So Randy sold Ace Pawn to a big jerk-ish kinda guy. He low-balls people, and acts like he's a better human being. So, I stopped going there. When sadly I had more month left than $$ again, I disavowed them at Ace, and Tri-City Vault is closer to my house, so it was a done deal...they are very cool there, the gave me a sweet loan, and TriCities Vault is now my permanent go-to in case of emergency. They pay the most for gold! I went to a three other places in the tri cities and they were offering 30% more! Mainly because they use a elemental spectrometer scanner (an extremely expensive piece of equipment) to test your gold. So they know the exact percentage of the karat. They don't have to use the archaic method of scraping your valuable gold on a stone and testing it with acid to see if it's real. I've been here a few times in the last month. I had some old coins and they not only were extremely Knowledgeable about the coins I brought in they also filled my useless knowledge part of my brain with great information about the coins they had and the coin market in general. I shopped around and they paid me way more for the coins I had than the other places in town were offering.
