My daughter was with teacher Letty and later moved to teacher Emma when she was old enough. She loved them both. Their tuition price is not bad compared to other places and to the care your kids are getting. Their hours I believe are from 6am to 6pm. I would absolutely recommend and plan on bringing my second child when he's old enough.

Our son's first language is Japanese and he is able to speak with his grandparents in Japan because these teachers nurtured and cared. The teachers used all their talents to encourage speaking and interaction. He went from shy to talkative, he became helpful and wanted to assist the younger children. It also made my heart happy to find a Christian environment that was gentle and not being forceful about Jesus. Majority of the families who bring their children to Iruka are not Christians but, they were all happy to see a balanced representation of God and Japanese cultural heritage. I am BEYOND grateful to this school, the SDA church and the staff for giving my family comfort and trust with my child.

We believe the Iruka preschool teachers instilled many of their foundations to their successes. Additionally, their Japanese immersion program is incomparable to any other preschools in this region. We highly recommend Iruka Yochien Preschool to anyone who is searching for top notch preschool education for their children. (They don't need high cost marketing because their preschool has been growing with a waitlist only by word of mouth. That alone speaks volumes.)

When I was in 5th grade, Miss Minshall always pushed us getting us ready for middle school. She was so amazing and the the teachers only get better and better. Miss Alfaro is so funny and actually understands us so well and yet knows when it's time to be serious. Miss Grasz gives excellent Spanish class teaching with her "Gabi" stories. Gabi is a cat who we read about in small cartoons. She does crazy stuff and makes that class so enjoyable. Mrs. Young is basically the same as Miss Alfaro. She's amazing! Mrs. Min always forgives no matter what. Our class is 30 students, and it is not easy to deal with us. We are very talkative. She keeps her cool and is always so nice to us. Mrs. Blain is great and always doing what needs to be done. Pastor Eric provides great Church messages getting us all closer to God. If you're looking to put your kid in private school and you're close to Brea, I would encourage you to bring your kid here. 5 stars for sure!
