Sooo was in town too pick up some chairs. And stumbled upon this gem. corned beef was top notch with the marbled bread...whew go get some of this spot!.

Decided to make the drive from Alva, FL and was glad I did! Enjoyed the New York Combo, fresh corned beef and pastrami. So delicious I felt like I was eating in Manhattan. Coke slaw was fresh and delicious. Next time I'm going for the Italian beef. Highly recommended and worth every minute of a 45 minutes drive to enjoy a classic New York sandwich.

Chicago Italian Beef's as good as Portillo's?? In Fort Myers? Yes! It's amazingly close. Sadly, no Turano roll... but the French bread is soft and holds the gravy well. The Roast Pork is out of this world and the Pastrami is incredible. They need some music & a bit of ambiance, but it's spotless and the service is good. Yes you should try it.

Big piece of black plastic in my sandwich

Why is this black plastic in my sandwich??? $18 for a cheesesteak that can't be eaten. The sandwich is littered with these pieces of plastic.

I had the Iconic Chicago brownie dessert but can't wait to try more on the menu

I ordered online and it was ready quickly. We ordered the Sgt. Pepper, Cousin Vinny, Smash Burger, Old Bay fries with a side of chipotle ranch, regular fries, and three drinks (Sweet tea, lemonade, and Arnold Palmer). The inside was clean and woman at the counter was friendly. They accommodated our modifications. The food was delicious. Would recommend everything we have tried so far. The drinks are fun in their big deli containers. We will definitely be back and we are so happy to have found this place!

Lots of parking in the lot, not much going on around however definitely worth checking out if you're craving something good breakfast or a sandwich. The establishment isn't too big however they do offer some benches and a few areas where you can enjoy your food, most people seem to place an order for take out. They are cashless, and have a cute gender neutral restroom. I went with their Jersey special breakfast sandwich and added egg to it, wow so delicious, being from NJ myself I'm always looking for a great Taylor ham sandwich without having to visit back up north.. my fiancé got their Cheech & Chong and loved it! My son and his gf had the Wally's cheesesteak and Sedona sunrise and both VERY GOOD. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Very excited to have found this place and we will definitely come back soon for breakfast and or lunch!

They spent 14 years on Sanibel Island before Hurricane Ian destroyed the original location in 2022. Chef Melissa also made Southwest Florida culinary history as a 2019 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: South, becoming the first Lee County chef to receive that recognition. Here's what we enjoyed from the Sizzle Dining menu: * Wedge Salad -- bleu cheese crumbles & bleu cheese vinaigrette * Cornmeal Crusted Cod Bites -- malt vinegar aioli * Grilled 6 oz. Flat Iron Steak -- crispy fingerling potatoes, caramelized cipollini onions, sautéed spinach & demi-glace * Roasted Salmon -- creamy banana lentils & blood orange gastrique * Key Lime White Chocolate Bread Pudding -- mixed berry coulis & key lime crème anglaise * Banana Pecan Strudel -- banana & pecans wrapped in phyllo dough with caramel gelato (My Top 3 Dessert during Sizzle) The food was delicious from beginning to end, and knowing the story behind Sweet Melissa's makes the experience even more special. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel incredibly welcome and are super helpful. You'll be impressed by the generous portion sizes, and the prices are just as great, making it a no brainer. One of the best things is how quickly the food arrives, and it's absolutely delicious. My French dip was packed with so much meat that you might only manage to eat half - it's that loaded! And if you're a fan of seafood, you're in for a treat; it's incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. I'm already planning my next trip back!

I asked the waitress if the potatoes were deep-fried because if they were I did not want them. And she had a look that she didn't understand me, but didn't ask or clarify anything. My husband ordered the country skillet. The coffee was delicious He said the country skillet was very good.. My omelette did not have any mushrooms in it. But what was odd it was the shredded potatoes and she had the Kitchen deep fry the shredded potatoes. When I asked her about that, she replied with "you said you wanted them deep fried" I said no I said I didn't want them if they were deep fried. She said "Let me see if I can get you another side" She came back with the hashbrowns not deep fried. The omelet itself appeared to be cooked in oil as it was very greasy. I chose ham as my meat specifically to avoid this kind of an outcome The potatoes were also very heavy in oil , or whatever it is, they used to cook them with The food came out quickly and the waitress is very nice. If I go back, I'd probably just get poached eggs in a bowl with a side of ham.
