I've been sick for over a week and have been missing a ton of work. I know my body and what works and doesn't work. When you come in feeling miserable and then the doctor makes you feel even more miserable, you wonder what you are paying the doctor for. When I stood my ground and told him I would take the risks associated with the Z-Pak, he walked out like he was angry after he agreed to prescribe it. He wouldn't even look at me. It felt like he thought I had personally attacked him and he responded very immaturely. I won't ever go back to him or let my children go to him either. Someone send him to training for bedside manner skills please.

I called the morning of my appointment and was explicitly told they had received my most recent bloodwork. When I arrived, they did not have my labs. Despite this, the NP had already formed her opinions before reviewing anything. Was rude and arrogant, told me my brain fog was simply due to old age and didn't bother to ask about any other symptoms and that my testosterone level of 167 ng/dL -- which my lab flagged as clinically low, was not a concern. She recommended DHEA as an alternative to TRT with no discussion of my history or symptom pattern whatsoever. When I raised concerns, the NP accused me of trying to skirt protocols, protocols I had never objected to and was fully prepared to follow. I ultimately had to pull up my own lab results on my phone, screenshot them, and email them to the office myself during the appointment just to have my records present. I left without a meaningful evaluation or treatment plan despite planning a week ahead, confirming my records were received, and coming fully prepared with documented symptoms and specific health goals. I was dismissed, blamed for their administrative failure, and made to feel like a problem rather than a patient. I would strongly encourage anyone seeking men's health or hormone evaluation to find a provider who will actually review your records before drawing conclusions.

Being on Mountainstar MyChart when all my records are kept on IHC MyChart, and I go to IHC hospitals and clinics for all my other doctor needs. And they were seldom shared. This practice used to be really first rate but not anymore. I have a new doctor who is closer to me now and it will work out better.

First- I'm not into hippie & I'm not into non proven medical practices, but I'm also open to non traditional practices. I'm not rich so a doctor outside of my insurance was a little scary. Whatever I pay towards feels like a gamble. I had great reviews for this office and both Dr. Peterson and Seibold. I'm still taking my time to trust they can cure me but so far my experience's been positive. Details of a few areas below. 1) customer experience: Office manager Meghan/ Megan was soooo sweet & also soo knowledgeable. Even after my appt with the doc, she answered in-depth medication questions I expected the doc to only know. She wasn't B'sing either. 2) Blood work & check in done by Vicki/Vicky. It was the smoothest & painless I've done. I usually pass out or get dizzy. She warmed a pad for me, chairs were comfy & she was so sweet. 3) Dr. Seibold sat with me an entire hour! Ok that alone was such a valuable experience. someone care and listen. I've felt so passed off by Dr. Berman at Uof U. but Seibold shared that even when he practiced in traditional medicine he would have passed me along too because that's how they are taught so they don't know other forms of treatment for bacterial, nuero, fungal viral etc. Seibold said he's been practicing more whole body care integrative medicine for a few yrs but used to be a traditional nuts & bolts type doc. Lyme journey I've gone the traditional route was referred by my GP at UofU for a lumber puncture & MRI even though I've been sick for so long. He saw the tick that bit me & still didn't order tests. I may spend less here than what I'd pay for normal out of pocket limit with my insurance, which is 9k. I think I could save money too if I lower my current premium with my insurance.; if these treatments work. I'm still at the testing but I'll report back to share info on future experiences. Seibald shared science backed options that were non traditional and also uses traditional approaches for Lyme, such as antibiotics. Now these treatments aren't cheap but so far I'm thinking it will be less than my out of pocket limit. They have things I didn't need like weight loss stuff but they didn't make me feel bad for not being into or needing it. Just stay your course. They do a lot of stuff and don't get sucked into any up sell unless you are financially fluid. Insurance: Most things are not covered by insurance, but they will try to help get tests covered if possible.

It is very difficult to get appropriate diagnoses and treatment of late stage Lyme, mold toxicity, tic-born illness, and common co-occuringI infections and disorders. Dr. Seibold, Dr. Peterson's colleague, had openings so I met with him. I am 55 and have had a lifetime of various physical illnesses that run the gammut from acne to chronic sinusitis to ruptured discs. He is one of the best doctors I have ever been to (CA and UT). He is kind, calm, respectful, and professional but approachable. He is fully present in the room when he is with you and makes sure that you have everything you need in hand when you leave (as you know this is unfortunately rare). He listens carefully and explains complex medical concepts in a way that respects your intelligence but also makes them easy to digest. I am facing 5-6 debilitating diagnoses that are complicated to treat and include mental health components. Both he and all of the staff have shown me an amazing amount of patience and compassion. I dont have enough good things to say about him and the staff from the front desk, medical assistants to the phlebotomist.
