the club has really good music that i like, like 90s and 80s, probably has other music types too…read morebut when i went there that was what was playing. its very cheap and accessible with public transportation. it has a main floor and a bar area to chill after you are tired of the loud music. the bathroom is clean a and spacious. Only found 2 problems: the dance floor is too small and fills up really quickly you can barley dance but after some hours you can go to the higher part of the dance floor and dance because that part looks like a stage and stands out a lot and many people are too shy to go there, also i found some Arab guys there to be a bit annoying rubbing themselves on the girls even after they are told no..because its so cheap it does not always attract the best people..

Vieles hat sich im Laufe der Zeit getan. Strukturelle Veränderungen blieben nicht aus. Aus dem einstigen FDJ-Studentenclub ist einer der ältesten und schönsten Studentenclubs Dresdens geworden. Räume wurden neu erschlossen und mussten wieder abgegeben werden - 2006 wurde im Hof ein Schallschutzschirm installiert, um nun die schönste überdachte Open Air Location Dresdens zu sein. Die Schäden der Hochwasser 2002 und 2013 konnten dank zahlreicher Helfer und Spender behoben und schnell konnte der normale Betrieb wieder aufgenommen werden. Immer waren und sind es die Mitglieder des Studentenclub Bärenzwingers, die Veranstaltungen planen und durchführen und so das einzigartige Flair des Hauses prägen.

Overall a nice place and good mood, music was more-or-less-rockabilly then, always accompanied by the matching 60s to 90s videos on screen :D Nice central large bar. I wasn't so amused when I found out they charge more than what is shown in the drink list. Mentioning "hey, this drink is 4,90 in the list" was answered with a sulky "and it's 5,10 on the cash register". I doubt that this was part of the "Rock" theme and thus considered it to be "not my service level" then :-/ Kicker tables etc. are available, and so are (a bit more silent) separees, so overall: yeah, you can go there. Just I probably wouldn't go a second time...
