The studio was out of commission this past week for construction so classes were held on the rooftop of the hotel next door. We had an amazing view of the city, twinkling at night as we rode our asses off. You get a great workout and a lot of encouragement from the profe. It may not be quite as hard as classes in the USA, but it'll release some endorphins and have you huffing and puffing. In town and looking for a good exercise class? This is a good one! You can totally get by without Spanish and the staff speak English if you really need help. It's not cheap (120 pesos a class) but it's a fun way to get your butt moving!

(Español abajo) It's…read morebeen years since my last Yelp review and this place has motivated me to write one. That says a lot. This place is amazing. I've done the introductory week for 240 pesos and I missed only one day. I've had classes with two of their instructors and I must say that I am impressed with their usage of the bikram dialogue and their knowledge of anatomy to help guide you through the postures. They seem to really want you to understand the postures to fully benefit from the bikram series. Me like a lot. The space itself is beautiful, four floors in a beautifully refurbished house is Belgrano. The ground holds reception, the first floor has the male restrooms, changing rooms with showers, massage rooms, and a waiting room complete with books and complimentary tea. The second floor houses the female restrooms and changing rooms (and I assume showers) as well as more massage rooms. The third foor is the an ample studio space with full-length mirrors. I am a little sad that my introductory week is over, but I'm sure I will be back. Me re like.
This is a great location and the studio is beautiful. Took…read moretwo classes that were all the same... Also, make sure you bring plenty of water, that is color free. I had water w a few drops of Chlorophyll that made it a big green. Instead of telling me beforehand, he took my water out of the room @ the begging of the class and left me without water in 100 degree room for 90 minutes The place has carpet which for me is terrible for yoga practice, and not very hygienic, even if you have a mat, since the teacher wont let you turn the mat if you don't want to step on the carpet for certain asanas. I also had an injury in my elbow, and couldn't stretch it most of the time, he kept asking me to do it, even though I kept trying to point to the wrap... hoping he'll figure it out. He didn't. At one point he was like, I saw u stretching it before, like dude, Im not lying I taught yoga over 15 years ago, and the first thing you learn in training is that you have to listen to your body. Your body knows best. If it hurts, don't push it. At the end of the class I was dehydrated and weak, politely asked if I could pay and leave, but he got angry and loudly reprimanded me saying I was late to the class (a min) and he let me in, but then I couldn't wait for him to enter my info on his database Loud, rude, and def a bad strategy to have a client come back. I was so shock I lost my ability to react. I will recommend go to Fernando Calvinio's studio in Belgrano R or Urban Lotus. Very professional and amazing teachers. I will kindly suggest to this man to deal with his anger before he runs out of business. Really bad for you and specially to promote yoga Anger is undercover pain. It festers. And if you don't deal with it you will lash out on people who have not caused it. So sad. All the best.
