Buyer beware! I dealt with Trent Travel over the phone and was terribly mislead.
When I called to book a vacation I was told that there were no vacancies on the beach that I requested except for the "sketchy" one I was booked into at a premium price. I was advised to take it, as it was the last one available. After checking the web there were in fact many vacancies at a much better rate with much better reviews.
I was also told that the only direct flight leaving was on January 16th, when I requested one anytime after the 17th. There was in fact a flight on the 19th.
I was then advised to purchase cancellation insurance and that I could cancel anytime up to 3 hours before my trip. There was no contract sent to me before my credit card being charged to clarify the terms, or any mention of a credit instead of a refund.
I feel that the company's tactics to earn a commission are very misleading if not outright deceptive. read more
