She was readily accessible to me when I had questions and I was able to speak openly with her about all of our concerns. Ms. Manfredi advised us well on what our options were and what information we needed to provide to the court. Fortunately for us, she spoke with the prosecutor a few days before the hearing and discussed our personal situation and the history behind the complaint that had been made against us and our two dogs. She successfully had our fine lowered significantly, and because she had spoken with the court representative prior to the hearing, our case was heard first that day and the judge accepted the plea and the negotiated fine. We were most appreciative of her excellent work and professionalism as she advocated for us in court. We recommend her highly as a very competent, personable, and caring attorney.

What are you waiting for...??!?…read more Let me start by saying that I research every aspect of my life. So naturally for my divorce I did just that - I talked to family, friends and coworkers while researching representation online. I wanted to better understand the divorce process and pick an excellent lawyer. I scheduled 3 interviews with perspective lawyers - the first very well known attorney stood me up. The receptionist wasn't even present during my 45 minute wait. The second spent my consultation bad mouthing other lawyers. I settled on the third. Once I paid my retainer I swore my lawyer worked for my Ex-husband! He even got irate and yelled at me during a meeting because I wouldn't concede to my Ex-husband's demands and I dared question his advisement! Needless to say I was distraught. An already impossible time with 3 kids in tow being made that much worse. I fired him. Fast forwarding to meeting Melissa. Words can't express the sense of relief I felt from my first consultation thru the conclusion of my divorce. She is warm, personable yet professional. Never did I feel uninformed about my case. She ensured that at all times I knew the exact status of my case. She and her staff communicate every update. I always felt welcome to call or email if a question arose. Responses were immediate and detailed. And rest assured, she is professionally aggressive in the best way! Once you communicate your desires and you both agree on a course of action she truly goes to work for you! Another plus? You never have to wonder about how your retainer is being spent! She will clearly communicate how your retainer is being used. You will also receive monthly statements with detailed breakdowns. Last but not least I didn't feel cut off once the divorce was final. Again she made it clear that I could always reach out to her not only for any future legal issues, but she expressed that I should reach out to her if there was even the slightest breach to the content of the decree. She has a client for life in me.

I hired Denise for my custody case and made a couple things clear: I wanted Child support addressed and the custody schedule defined. After $2,000 and literally a case that appeared to have been thrown together last minute I let the courthouse empty handed. The judge informed Denise she would send the final order to me, which she didn't send. Months after the order was issued and many unanswered calls and emails later I finally fought to receive my copy....which still lacked the only two things I needed and for which I hired her for. I felt her services were overpriced and underwhelming. I felt I had to fight the Attorney for the final order that lacked the details that I paid her to negotiate for me. I would look much further before settling to be a client of hers.

Mr. Churchill wanted more understanding about my case and even invited me to meet with him for another free consultation, so that he could understand my case even better. That really impressed me becasue most Lawyers will show you in no time it is all about the money, but not Mr. Churchill. He truly cared to listen to me and what it was that I wanted and could be up against as a Father seeking his rights to his child. Once I obtained his services; he started working almost immediately on my case. He was very professional as well as organized. He was easy to get a hold of and would actually call you to keep you updated on your case. When it came time for the Mediation he stood his ground with the other sides council and did not let me sign nor do anything that would jeopardize me and my rights as a father. He went into the mediation with my best interest at heart as his client and that is a great quality you want in an Attorney especially a Father seeking fair representation. In closing I would like to say if you are a father be careful who you have representing you. Take your time to do your research as I did becasue at the end of day I can't experess how important it is to have the right hired Attorney for the job!! Thanks for all you have done for me Mr. William P. Churchill!
