Driving through Georgia earlier this year I received a citation for speeding. I genuinely thought I…read morewas not speeding and attempted to point out multiple reasons why this was the case to the officer who was not hearing it. While I was going slow, and at the speed I believed the road I was on was posted at (according to my GPS that had just directed me off ramp to said road) I apparently passed into a school zone unbeknownst to me and was speeding at just the level (41, 16 over during school time) GA reports back to my home state and therefore my insurance company with all the increased rates that entails. While I was willing to pay for speeding, I wanted to avoid those rate increases and some research showed me that this was possible given that if they would simply adjust that speed down to 39 (14 over) those fees (and reporting, from GA) would go away. This is something the court system, law enforcement, and lawyers at firms like Hendrick and Henry deal with all of the time. I called them and tried to describe my scenario. The person who took my call was very abrupt and obviously not interested in details. She informed me whatever they did would require I pay that day a flat $750 which I was willing to do if needed. In general question and answer phase, she basically told me the court wouldn't even look at or talk to me without representation so defending myself or corresponding with them solo would be pointless. But when I said I had a couple of other minor tickets on my record in my home state from the past 7 years (speeding, but none "super speeding" or the like) she clicked her tongue and said she'd have to check with the lawyers to see if it was worth their time to represent me. They never called me back. I did some more research and found that the service I was requesting was generally $250-400 for most firms and that most likely they hadn't gotten back to me because they are safeguarding their win ratios as closely as possible so event the slightest risk negotiation wouldn't work left me out in the cold. I corresponded directly with the district court my ticket fell in, and they worked with me over the course of weeks to make that reduction and save my insurance hikes, though I did indeed still have to pay a hefty ticket/fine. So: they quoted me a wildly out of pocket amount, sold me on the "fact" that without them I'd be toast, didn't care to hear the details, and didn't return my call. With the help of Google I did every step they would have done had they taken my $750 and got as positive a result as possible given the situation.

Not an opinion on their legal competence, rather the responsiveness and professionalism…read morecontacted the office of Hendrick & Henry on Saturday, April 4, through the portal regarding a traffic ticket. On Monday, April 6, I received a call back from a woman at the office. The interaction was brief (1 minute and 28 seconds), and her tone was notably curt. She indicated that she would not discuss the matter until she knew the court where the appearance would be required and instructed me to send a photo of the ticket via text to the phone number she called from. The call ended before I was able to obtain her name. I subsequently texted a photo of the ticket as requested but did not receive any follow-up communication. Having owned and run a professional practice for over 20 years, I am well aware that one of the primary client concerns is non-responsiveness. If there is no follow-up with a prospective client, it raises concerns about responsiveness after a retainer is received. Will be moving on.

Never been in trouble in my life. I had some issues in Canton, Ga. Police have a very tough job and make mistakes and thus, found myself in the back of a police car on the way to jail. Everything I spent a lifetime working for was in jeopardy. Initially, I hired an attorney for 5K with good reviews and misleading online image. However, I felt my attorney was more interested in a Plea Bargain than clearing my good name. I spoke with friends in the police department back home in Indiana and they advised me to seek other counsel. I prayed to God about it and asked around and Grisham & Poole constantly came recommended. I terminated my first attorney and Hired Ross Grisham. The first time I met him was at the courtroom calendar call. As I sat waiting, Numerous sloppily dressed defendants and attorneys with bad suits filed in and out of the courtroom. Note, It might seem trivial how your attorney is dressed but it can make a world of difference. It acknowledges respect for the judge, court, and projects creditability to the Jury. People are more inclined to listen. And then God delivered! Ross came in looking sharp dressed with a good rapport with the Judge, Prosecutor, and fellow attorneys. Ross is a straight shooter and he will work to understand your story and get you the best outcome possible. Nothing left to chance and Well prepared for court. Outstanding job in my immunity hearing! These guys like winning! I was all in going to jury trial! Ross wanted to change tactics on the prosecution and tagged Scott Poole to jump in during the trial. Scott, Well prepared, studied my case, knew the law, dressed sharp and also had a good rapport with everyone. Did his homework after a day in court! Great Job picking my jury! Mr. Poole took the prosecution's case apart step by step. Mr. Grisham and Mr. Poole have different styles but they have incredible synergy! The jury came back, Victory! Unanimous Not Guilty on all counts. All said and done, an outstanding job and whatever I paid them just wasn't enough. I left the office a huge tip with no regrets! The office staff and investigator did a great job also! God had his mighty hand on all of them for me. In all sincerity, Thank You Jesus I have my life back! There just isn't enough adjectives to describe how Highly I think of and recommend the Grisham and Poole law firm. God Bless,

She was readily accessible to me when I had questions and I was able to speak openly with her about all of our concerns. Ms. Manfredi advised us well on what our options were and what information we needed to provide to the court. Fortunately for us, she spoke with the prosecutor a few days before the hearing and discussed our personal situation and the history behind the complaint that had been made against us and our two dogs. She successfully had our fine lowered significantly, and because she had spoken with the court representative prior to the hearing, our case was heard first that day and the judge accepted the plea and the negotiated fine. We were most appreciative of her excellent work and professionalism as she advocated for us in court. We recommend her highly as a very competent, personable, and caring attorney.
