Definitely not as many great options for vegetarians this year but still a really chill time. It's great fun with friends and family, we took our one year old son with us and all three of us had a great time. We did bring in our own food for him but they're luckily cool with that and for ourselves we bought some drinks, a duck burger, veggie stew, lamb burger, twister crisp, brownie and ice cream and some take home treats from arzu bakt and madam cocos. My personal favourites: arzu's salted caramel and pecan bar and madam's ginger and chilli cocos balls.
Wasn't really feeling all that hungry any more by the time we got here, otherwise I would have tried the veggie quesedilla from the tortilla truck. Might go back over the weekend just to try it, and hey, the bike ride over already justifies the eating right??
As far as the veggie stew and twister crisp: at €4,50 and €2,00 they were definitely worth the money. Delicious, somewhat nutritious and definitely not way overpriced like some other things...
And as for the meat stuff, hopefully le husband will write his review soon! read more
