Great folks, they were able to get my son's bike good to go quickly as he was going to be in town for a few days.

I cannot recommend Village Cycles…read more I had hoped to have some work done on an old used bike I had and buy another, but they were unable to accommodate either request, so we moved on to give our business to another local store that's not far from here. Why were they unable to accommodate us? We didn't make an appointment for the maintenance on the used bike, which is reasonable, so we asked about trading in our used one. The answer was a flat NO because the owner has to make the deal, so I asked if we could call the owners and make a deal. The answer was a more affirmative NO. This is supposedly a retail outlet? Really? Maybe they are, but while the guy was all about telling me NO, another guy was still trying to upsell my husband on a deal that was already shut down by his colleague, so we were then told how uncomfortable my used bike is and how we should buy a new one. After being told to take a number on maintenance. DO NOT tell me how your product, sales, and service are quality while refusing my business. Village Cycles in Paddock Square seems a bit too uppity for what they purport to offer, so I went to TREK bicycles in Wildwood and spent $1600 and feel much, much better about the product, sales, and service because I actually received RESPECTFUL sales, and service! If you're serious about making a real quality purchase with people who want to listen to you and offer service, DO NOT GO TO VILLAGE CYCLES in Paddock Square!

I stopped in on a recommendation from a friend who recently purchased. I was looking to purchase as well. Unfortunately they did not have a lot of inventory to choose from. So Windy suggested that I rent one. What a great option. I got to use a quality bike for my stay and now l know exactly what bike I want/need. Thanks for being so helpful! See you soon.

One never really knows what they have missed out on unless they have something to compare it to,…read morewhich is the case for us and The Villages Golf Car Store at Lake Sumter. In late May, we purchased a golf car from this store from one of the "top salesman" there. We thought some things were a bit off in our experience, like it felt more transactional than an experience. To add to it, this is a very busy location (so we are told) so getting ahold of said salesman for questions after our purchase was difficult at best. Although, we were satisfied with the guarantees and warranties that VGCS offers over buying from anyone else, we recommended that our parents buy their golf car from the same company but different location, Spanish Springs. OMG the difference was night and day. Their salesman printed a nice paper up congratulating them on their purchase and had them pose next their new golf car for a picture, plus tons of other personal customer-first pieces that we did not get with our so-called top seller. I guess we know now why, when you're busy shoving people through the door with golf cars you have little time for the other crap. Well, today was the final straw for us and this location. When we got our golf car we asked for a tray to be added along with a few other fixes. During the process, we were asked to sign something that we later realized we did not get a copy of in our paperwork. We went back today to the service center and the lady behind the counter was so short with us we felt like we put her out for even being there. It was not a friendly exchange at all and echoed the same type of we-got-your-money-now-don't-come-back attitude we have received from the start. From now on, we will go to the Spanish Springs store. Sad fact is, I'm not sure if our next purchase - or recommendations for friends and family moving here - will be VGCS. One day maybe owners, managers, and frontline supervisors will begin to learn that those folks on the frontline are the ones who make or break your customers' experience. There are too many folks with great customer service skills that do not have a job for this to be happening.
