We had a couple of trees removed stumps ground down and sod installed. The condition of our trees were meshed together making them unsafe. Matt and his team had everything down and removed 2 days before hurricane Lee. We were impressed on how they paid attention to detail and so clean other then the trees being removed you wouldn't know they were here. We can't say enough good things about this company from fair pricing to job completion why would you go anywhere else. Needed and area of Trees removed. Down 2 Dig Excavation sent me an estimate for Mulching Services…read moreof $160 per hour. The area finally completed was 130ft by 60ft (about 8000 square feet). Larry was able to complete the job in less than 15Hrs. At the end of the job, he still charged me $8000 + tax. That's NOT $160 per hour as stated in the estimate, that's $533 an hour. All that was done was mulching and according to the estimate, Down 2 Dig Excavation should of charged me $160 x 15 hours plus the excavator delivery of $600. Which is about $3000 + tax. If I had known that $160 an hour was too low, we could of disused it prior to the start of the job.
