The Tree of Knowledge is a statuary in Roswell, NM.
My oldest daughter who had a doctor's appointment on April 8, 2026, came by to check it out while she enjoyed some ice cream. (Ice cream does wonders for kids who have undergone tests and are cranky.)
The tree resides at the southwestern corner of the Roswell Public Library where there is ample lot or street parking nearby.
It does not tower as high as its live counterparts, but its colors and engraved words were still quite eye-appeasing. Titles of books, dedications to individuals, and words of encouragement were a few of the messages we read.
A smaller stump with a dedication plaque - which I failed to snap a photo of - sits nearby.
The plaque stated that the tree was dedicated in 2008 to celebrate the "2006 Centennial of the Roswell Public Library."
I'm a fan! read more
