I just got my first Clarks bootsies this morning, got them on straight away and was sincerely reluctant to take them off again. Let me explain. Despite having a sturdy wide heel, they're light as a feather. The leather upper is soooooooo infinitely soft, it hugs your feet like a sock. Besides the inside is lined with a cushy layer of insulation which adds extra softness and warmth. They're doing sales at the moment too, so its a good time to try them out. This particular shop is centrally located with very attentive and pleasant staff, and happy to dole out useful advice on how to care for your new shoes and make them last forever. If you think about how the comfort factor skyrockets the wear you get out of the shoe, it actually turns out to be very good value for money.

Really besides real elagance like that, you get The Really Useful Shoe, The Flatty, Trouser Shoes, and all points in between those. Some of their mules are great, flattering and summery. There is every type of shoe Under The Sun. Oh, but the boots! Now, I do have a boot fetish and I get most of my boots here. Usually I wait for the sale and get two pairs maybe. However I am sure if you investigate a lot of the high street stores you will find exactly the same, at least they are trying to do the right thing by opening factories etc which do not employ young children. They also let the public have the benefit of cheap clothes unlike others who blatantly lie for the price tag. The clothes in Primark are cheap and fashionable. Not all good quality but if you delve into their jumble style rails you can find great things. 100% cotton tee shirts and shirts ( I bought a really smart shirt the other day for £1.00) Underwear and night wear, shoes and accessories. Mens jeans at £4.00 (ok for work!) mens jumpers at £6.00 Great looking clothes at the fraction of the cost. In these hard days I am glad to say we have such a shop on the high street.
