Party World fits a lot into a small space, but on this occasion they were missing engagement cards. I live right round the corner and in an effort to put some cash into local businesses decided to come here. They were really helpful and at £30ish for 4 sets of 5 balloons, weights and ribbon i didn't think that was half bad! They were very kind and bundled them up into bags for me so i could squeeeeeze them in my little ford ka (called fiona!) My boss was dead happy them being in the company colors, with myself and several of the bar staff greatly enjoying singing 'follow the yellow brick road' after the party had ended using the balloons...never to old! This shop sells so much, various cards, balloons from all colors of the rainbow to birthday cake supplies, hen parties, banners, bubbles and more. Great little local party shop and i'll def use them again. Two thumbs up!

I think the main draw, however, is the specialist balloon decor (one example can be seen in the photo I included). Bob creates bespoke balloon art for parties, weddings and corporate functions, but just a quick browse around the premises will give you an idea of his skill. Floor-to-ceiling creations pepper the shop floor, giving this Yelper an idea or two for her beloved's daughter's next birthday party. The ground floor also showcases every latex balloon design you can imagine (from smiley faces to Peppa Pig), in addition to greeting cards, invitations and other party necessities. Downstairs is where the fancy dress kit is stocked, offering your usual ranges of hats, masks and costumes. Paid £30 for some helium balloons for my daughters 1st birthday. Picked them up the evening before…read morethe party. By the morning they were all flat. Called to complain and I was told by the manager (David) that they "obviously" only last 12 hours and this is just "the basic laws physics"! I suggested that this may have been important information for customers (like me) who don't have a physics degree- however he was very rude and slammed the phone down. As you can imagine, my daughter was quite 'deflated'! What awful customer service. Would never recommend - avoid.
