Overall, Aspen Park is the easiest disc golf course in Omaha. It's flat with wide open drives on every hole. There are a few trees around some baskets that require skill shots, but such shots can easily be avoided most of the time. Pros: A fun course for a quick round when you want to avoid the crowds at nearby Seymour. Also a great place to practice some distance drives for more skilled players (especially hole 7, which is a whopping 600+ feet). Likewise it's a great course for beginners, as there is nothing intimidating about the course and it's pretty much impossible to lose a disc. Cons: Like I mentioned before, there's not much challenge to Aspen Park. Every hole is literally straight forward. Also, it sits on a flood plain for the Big Papio Creek, so expect it to be a bit marshy for a couple days after it rains.

The new carts were fast and "executive" like compared to other courses. No two holes were alike and several were challenging as far as length and elevation. The only negative I could think of was a dead tree in front of the green on #18. Otherwise, it exceeded expectations.

The views of the Platte River are better, and the tree removal has also enhanced air movement on the course. Less fungus than before! The staff is nice, and the clubhouse nicer! I think it's worth the higher green fee. We didn't wait, or slow anybody else down. Tee times every 15 minutes helps spread things out.

I played the full 18 and it was a good time. The greens were a tad hard to read but fun nevertheless. All in all, the full 18 was a blast to play and the club was a great place to hang out in after going through the full 18. I would come back and play again.

This summer season wasn't harsh and at $30+ for 9 holes, we expected much better. We were also followed closely by staff throughout the course which was a bit strange. From my…read morepictures you can see it has been getting updated with some latest burke playground equipment. Unfortuntaly there was no direct handicap access or ride on handicap equipment like i have seen at other sites. One interesting thing about this park is its quite spread out. There is a splash pad area, playground area, tennis courts and baseball diamonds but they are all hundred feet or more apart. The tennis court area looks to be getting some pickle ball courts but i couldnt tell for sure. There is street side parking that is on the same side as the park and a private parking lot but it is clear at one end so might miss it until you are leaving! The covered areas with picnic tables are pretty decent size. Roughly 6 x 10 person tables in them. There is a creek/water run off that separates the baseball areas from the rest which does have good fencing protecting it. If you have allergies beware the surrounding cottonwood trees! Felt like it was snowing at times which is funny until you breathe it in haha.
