He has a special talent for not only medicine but his "bedside manner". He is sensitive to the angst that a patient is going through when you are nervous about a procedure that is uncharted territory for you. Would highly recommend Doctor Blatstein. Once I was able to speak with the front desk staff, the representative seemed unsure how to verify eligibility for insurance coverage. I had already verified with my insurance that provider was in fact In-network and accepted my insurance. After nearly 15 minutes on the phone, (between holding 3 times and providing my information) I politely thanked her for her time and decided to schedule elsewhere. It is unfortunate because I had read wonderful things about Dr. Jerry and was hoping to become a patient. However, if the first point of contact is this difficult and the staff answering the phones do not appear to have the customer service skills or tools needed to assist patients effectively, it makes it hard to feel confident moving forward. I truly hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the scheduling experience may be preventing potential patients from ever reaching the provider.
