We have been coming to Todos Santos for 25 years and are excited to have a good Italian Family bringing their traditions to Mexico. They opened a new spot down by Galeria Logan and the Hotel California and the food did not disappoint. For an appetizer we had Burrata and Tomatoes, a Caprese Salad. The tomatoes were fresh and sweet. Both the Cherry Tomatoes and the heirloom beefsteak tomatoes. For entrees we had the Eggplant Parm, The Ribeye and the Pesto. Have dined at Tre Galline during several recent trips to Cabo and Todos Santos. The restaurant is very clean and nicely appointed. The wait staff super friendly and most importantly, the food is spot on. My wife is from Italy so if she felt the food was fresh and authentic, it had to be. A gem of a find in Todos Santos. In the restaurant is a quaint, outdoor garden seating area. The inside is filled with generously spaced tables and lined with gorgeous paintings which to our disappointment were not for sale. We started off with a bottle of reasonably priced Sangiovese and the house special pizza-delicious. My husband and daughter has the bolognese with house made pasta. They are both pasta snobs. Their dishes passed their picky palettes. My daughter had the vegetarian entree. She has discriminating taste. Her choice was a big WIN! I ordered the parmesan pasta. After ordering, I thought it was a mistake, not even thinking it could potentially turn out to be mac and cheese. This was NOT a mistake the sauce was light and flavorful. The fam ordered another bottle of the Sangiovese. We hung out and really enjoyed just how comfortable our find was! I ordered the limoncello panna cotta. It was gone in 60 seconds, no, I didn't share! I don't usually share desserts. I was driving the gang back to our place in Cabo. The panna was MY Muber fee! In a town that is all about the Hotel California and Tequila Sunrise. After many days of tacos and beans and rice, I found my way to a sweet little Italian restaurant by night, Mexican restaurant by day. Truth telling - I was tipped off to the authentic menu by the Italian hostess at Todos' Youth Hostel. The meal I ordered will remain in memory for a very long time. it was a macaroni (Italian style) perfectly sauced in a Parmesan cream. It was lightly flavored with the spice of thinly sliced Serano peppers. They brought a steaming cast-iron pan of the sauce and pasta to the table and threw it into a hollowed out cheese rind, where they proceeded to melt some of that cheese rind into the sauce. It was, quite honestly, fabulous. I have been trying to figure out the recipe to bring it to my own home, but haven't quite gotten it to perfection. Can't recommend this Italian gem highly enough. read more

We were happy to eat again at Tre Galline before they move to their new location this Saturday, 4 Nov. As always, the food was excellent! The pastas and sauces were all excellent. Our friend commented that the caprese salad was the best she had ever eaten! And I finally got to try the carpaccio, which was excellent! The service was lovely, although it is always leisurely, so plan for that. While not inexpensive, the prices are reasonable. Three meals, appetizer and a nice bottle of wine from the Valle de Guadalupe was $2,000 MXN. Overall a wonderful experience, as always. read more

I've come here so many times while i'm in town and I can truly say it is one of my favorite spots. The pasta dishes are so special and you can tell that their is a passion behind each meal. It's unique to the town, and my favorite and only go to Italian place in Todos Santos. Great New Years Eve dinner. The restaurant is a beautiful, cozy, and welcoming place. Every course was great starting with the appetizer all the way to the dessert. The eggplant with mozzarella burrata and pesto was scrumptious. The beef carpaccio with parmagiano and spicy lettuce was delicious. Then the pasta abd zuchinni with truffle oil was excellent that you didn't want it to end. The bacalao with the Beet puree was perfect start to the entrées and the lamb filet with mint peas and the pork marinated with Asiago were incredible combination. The meal ended with a fluffy pan de rosa with a zabarone cream. The wine was from the Valle de Guadalupe Baja California and it was perfect for the meal. read more

Hours are unreliable. We went to 3 different sites and all had different times. We were there on a Friday, around 1PM. They were closed that day. What a waste. The man we talked to across the street, said they do that sometimes. I am sure when they are open the food is good, but they need to be open when your 3 sites say you are. read more

There are a number of fine dining establishments in this small, artsy town about half way between Cabo San Lucas and La Paz. This is one of them. Great ambience, with different nooks and crannies to eat. The owners and cooks are Italian, so the food is more authentic than many Italian places in California and elsewhere. I had a very good three-meat ragout with ziti pasta. Huge portion. My wife and daughter shared a fish filet that was ok, but nothing mind blowing. The tomato and burrata salad was good-sized and was enjoyed by our Italian friend- but not shared. We also tried a shrimp and pasta dish that was quite good, too. Beer and wine available. Some locals here, but this is high-end by local standards, so mostly, but not exclusively, foreigners, some of whom were living nearby. A nice lunch stop if you are looking for an alternative to Mexican fare. read more

Excellent place to eat at! One of the few places in town who carries a Rose'. We had two salads that were well presented and very flavorful. Then a truffle pasta with zucchini and it was absolutely delicious. We finished here with creme brûlée. It was a fine experience here. read more

After being disappointed by the restaurant at the end at Todo Santos we walked across the street to Tre Galine. The service was wonderful in the menu is varied with some traditional Italian dishes wonderful looking pizzas and the seafood fair you come to expect and Todo Santos. the service was very nice. the food was terrible. it's our last night and i couldn't let this be our last dinner in todos santos so we had to get a second dinner at el poblano (def must go). caesar salad. very salty. pasta with zucchini and truffle. very very salty. salt crusted steak asked for medium and came out rare. sent it back. was still rare. the steak is crusted in salt but when they serve it they wipe away most of it so it wasn't that bad but every once in a while you would get a big bite of salt rocks. read more

This is one of the many higher end restaurants in Todos, and we enjoyed it. Most of the menu was pizza, but it wasn't offered that night for some reason so we got caprese salad, fish, and a chicken dish which were all very good. What a surprise. Not only is it a treat to find excellent Italian food in Todos Santos, but is is also a surprise that the restaurant begins its day as a fine little Mexican cafe until 1:30 PM when it turns into a true Italian restaurant. Two of the three pasta dishes we had were absolutely top of the line. The pasta on the third was a bit undercooked, but still tasted fine. Great salads, great drinks, and friendly service in a setting with charm and authenticity. I will eat there whenever I get to Todos Santos read more
